I’ve noticed in some other guitar tutorials for this song that they add a G major between the Em7 and the D major chord. Is there a reason why it’s not in yours? I feel like the G chord fills a gap but I’m curious for your input! You are getting the credit for teaching me this awesome riff, though!

There is 4 cord progression. In the unplugged he starts the riff with A minor once then go to the Em7 /G/ Dmajor/Cad9 cord . Only open up the song with A minor that’s it.Try it and you will definitely here the unplugged version.
