I can totally see the law of diminishing returns being applied in so many situations in life!

Great insight! When i was a little younger, I attempted an instagram meme page and had nearly 3000 posts by the end of the year but only 300 followers, and dropping still. I couldn't wrap my head around it until I asked a friend and he said its because i was absolutely flooding their feed 😅. Sometimes too much of something even drives people away, lol!

I used to think it was a useless major. Now I wish it had been MY major!

weighing the marginal trade-off was really insightful and relating it to youtube videos made it way more interesting to learn!

"If I want to grow my channel - AND I DO" Gives "That's not because I'm so Strong - EVEN THOUGH I AM" vibes.

Try explaining this to your boss. One problem with hyper-competitive work environments is that they tend to push everyone deep into the diminishing returns zone. As an individual, you'd be better off just being a so-so employee, and rather than banging out an extra 1-2 hours per day to impress the boss, put your time into investing or maybe a side money-making endeavor even if you're not the best there either. Doing two activities with time-returns in the steep part of the curve is be better than pushing a single activity into to your limit.

You are SOOOOOO RIGHT! I'm actually working on a video right now that explains how companies love efficiency everywhere, everywhere, that is, EXCEPT among its employees!
