We have been fortunate with the smoke this year. Some years just like you describe where we couldn't go out side. But it does cause beautiful colorful sunsets. Nice paper bag creation today. Reminded me how much I liked your picture to fabric transfer. 💛

We had our great-granddaughter's first birthday party on Saturda...so much fun and such a blessing. Her Mommy had been told from the age of 14 that she would never have a baby....But God knew better and just at the perfect time sent Gracelyn❤ He is so good! This turned out amazing. I love that we can make those bags. Using just neutrals is challenging. Sometimes I think when I show my work that it looks like I added color because it is surprising how different browns and beiges look and how they show up in a project.

Hi Amy I love the bag and tag. We had a very bad lightening storm here the other night a tree just down the road from us was struck and put out the power for 4 hours . The torrential downpour flooded the lower level because the sump pump couldn,t work with no power. It got so high my bedroom floor got soaked now we are trying to dry out the floor I lost some papers and a couple junk journals.. But it could have been worse. We are getting a generator so we will be ready for if it happens again. The area we live in has a very high water table with numerous natural springs, there are no leaks in the basemen it is just the water pressure that causes it to come through the walls. My living area is elevated above the main basement so it isn,t normally a problem This was a freak occasion.
