Nuuk Icefjord Boat Tour in Nuuk, Greenland - Travel vlog

Nuuk Icefiord boat tour is all about enjoying the scenery and typically includes Sermitsiaq mountains and an impressive waterfall along the way. This tour is a full-day excursion and can take up to 8 hours. It is operated by Nuuk Water Taxi.
This boat tour goes into the Icefiord north of Nuuk, where most icebergs in and around the Nuuk fjord originate. You will see many icebergs along the way.
The boat sails past the abandoned settlement of Qoornoq. The tour includes lunch. The captain finds a good spot among the ice where you can enjoy the included lunch while listening to the glistening ice as bubbles of air are released when they slowly melt away.
After lunch, the boat sails to Camp Kangiusaq, where there is the opportunity to go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in the area.
The tour is operated with a modern Targa cabin boat with a heating system, toilet, and comfortable indoor seatings. It is also possible to enjoy the cruise on the walkaround deck with comfortable seating outside. Lunch, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are included.

A tour guide in one of my videos in Ilulissat explained the icebergs subject very well. We sailed at midnight all the way to the heart of the world's second-largest icebergs. The boat stopped for a break in front of the icebergs where she discussed the science behind those amazing icebergs. Thank you so much. There are some trees in some parts of Greenland but for the most part, you will not see trees if you visit Greenland. They import all vegetables and fruits.

This is beautiful. What is the benefits of the iceberg? The water color seems to be green right. Are there harmful objects in this eater? This waterfall is natural. Is this water body deep or shallow?

Why do people stay on this island for over two nights? When there are plenty of mosquitoes? Is it not dreadful staying here overnight?

My guess is that some people enjoy a solitary, off-grid life, far away from humanity and civilization. That remote area offers all of that. As far as fighting the mosquitoes in Greenland, it is so easy to do it with a special type of spray (Mosquito Repellent) that you spray on the clothes and another type of Mosquito Repellent that you spray on the skin. I used both of them and they worked beautifully.
