Thank you so much for telling us, I have so many of the colours, I think my mouth actually dropped when I heard what you said, I will need to go through them tomorrow and find out what the verdict is, I hope and pray things are not to bad, I know you were very kind with Nuvo however I would like to say a few not nice words to them, when they knew that piece of paper was faulty inside the lid of the container they should had made the consumer aware so they could protect the product, Thank you once again for sharing this, this will make me think twice not only when I am buying products from Nuvo but really any company, if I can’t see myself going through items in a year or two then I should not be buying them, now I am thinking of other Nuvo products I have and wondering am I throwing my money out the window, always buyer should be aware of what might go wrong,

I do agree. I think there should have been a statement made. There might have been I will go look. (playing devils advocate here lol ) If they are a little dry not hockey puck dry you can save them. Let me know what the verdict is.

I did that to mine. They were like your purple one, dry but not hockey puck yet....and it worked! Broke up the mousse with pallete knife into chunks, added boiled water that was still hot, but not boiling anymore. Smooshe and move it around with pallette knife to work in the water and soften it up. took a while for each one. Then when I was happy with the consistency, I then added 1 wrapped up new baby wipe on top, then covered with the press n seal wrap, then put the cover back on. I did that last year, they are beginning again to dry out a bit, but are still not too bad. at least we can save them to try to use them up over time!

Thank you for sharing this..this happened to my glitter paste as well from nuvo. They did replace them for me. I wonder if grating the hockey pucks and he microwaving the grated mousse with some of the distilled water would work.

On some of my cheap chalk paints that had cardboard in the lid (which gets super soggy) I've replaced with a piece of craft foam cut into a circle. You want it to be slightly larger than the interior diameter of the lid, so it seals better when you close the lid tightly. You should see the ring made from the jar on the foam if it's cut right. You'll need to use some pokey tool to shove the edges of the foam under the screw rings inside the lid to get a perfect fit. That keeps it in place and from falling into the jars. I'm going to do this with all my jars of stuff that might dry out next time I open them. Just another suggestion...

Very helpful video, I have about 10 of these in beautiful colours and they have all dried out completely. They all have cardboard in the lid and are really solid. I don’t think they will revive so I will bin them. I have tried adding water but it hasn’t worked.

I bought 1and it dried up took it back and my shop owner gave me the foam tops and another product, since then I have bought several more and replaced the cardboard with the foam...verdict...6 are fine 2 were dried up and 1 was kinda dried...put boiling water & coconut oil over them and sealed real good, now will wait for several days and check them. The one that was totally dry did have the foam...

I had that happen with some decoart pastes. I haven't managed to revive them but was thinking I will use them to create backgrounds...kind of like crayons. The color still transfers, you just can't spread it.

This has happened with the Art C texture pastes...they dried up to the consistency of concrete...just add water and put some elbow grease into breaking it up...it’s a lot chunkier, but can still be used. I actually like the new, chunkier texture, but it does take some effort to break it up.

I know from several other product That you need boilling water. Use a little bit hot water and after a few minuten put the lid on You have to do Theseus s several days and stirr when It gets softer

I have quite a few and mine dried up as well. I also tried everything you did and nothing worked. I contacted the company and they sent me replacements but I live in Canada and had to pay duty on them so that wasn’t great. It was still cheaper than buying all new ones though.

Mine dried up after exchanging the inside piece on the lid. I’ve tried using glycerin and it helped but then dried up again. I also put press and seal on top of it and still no good. They were okay for a little bit but I just checked and they are dried out again! It’s really weird because some have and some have not dried out. I give up.

it happened to my dylusion paint.. its all drying up.. im not sure its my tropical weather or something else, still trying to figure how to revive my dylusions....

The Beauty News channel recently experimented to revive dried colour pop eyeshadows. They used Inglot duraline. I wonder if it would work on these. They look like similar to those super shock eyeshadows. The durlaline is only like 12$. And you wouldn’t have to work about mold from water.

If you order through Tonic website you should get the new batch with the foam in them. It should give them longer life. It is a bummer when things dry out. Maybe contact them and see... maybe they will send you some replacements.

Hi I just saw a video (coquijim 6065) Sept 6,2018. She added about one ounce of water and put press and seal. She waited a few days, then she started to break the mouse, she did that a few times and the mousse is good. The other thing she did with other jars is she grind them and I guess will use it like water colors. Hope this helps, go see her videos.

I have no problem with dried up mousse, bought a lot on sale when Nuvo discounted them at 75% off last December and they're still soft and quishy, was thinking I'd use them as glitter watercolors (had they arrived dried up) because they're not cheap either and these can compete with the Coliro if not diluted too much. Also, can still be revived besides having so many uses for cardmaking (besides watercoloring). Still, thank you for alerting Nuvo customers.

Wonder if anyone had this happen with tattered angels peodicts? Cant complain bc i got them years ago but my glimmer glam and ger glam never responded to water-i absolutely loved them but made the mistake of hoarding and they dried up! If anyone has them, use them and if anyone knows how to revive these glazes plz let me know-thx!
