Nice review. But the 2 prong vs the 3 prong is no cause of concern with this device. I am an electrician.

You know if that's all you can come up with three things the only thing I could see that was really a bad feature is it is hard to clean but who cares about the prongs who cares about the plastic as long as it works and it does the job you're just nitpicking

Warning. The non stick pan is NOT non stick. Drippings from a hamburger took me 20 minutes of scrubbing to get the baked on mess off. That's with soaking. Very hard to clean.

Agreed. I like plastics, but not for hot food. Plastic getting soft and smelling is not compatible with food (in my opinion). I'm using Stouffers microwave plastic lasagna dishes to hold water for my backyard animals. They will probably last forever. Creepy. Good creepy.

Caution..this unit can burn out with small flames. My unit did. Lasted 18 months.. Just a glorified toaster...but worked great for 2 people...buy go wise USA not nuwave.

@AuroraColoradoUSA4 жыл бұрын
@ I have had it for at least a few months now. Works great for cooking French fries, as expected, no comparison to a cheap toaster oven. It doesn't get hot enough to be ideal, but the cord gets quite warm, so more power might not be a good idea.

It would be nice if it had a three prong plug? DO WHAT??? And I thought the complaint about "toy plastic" was silly...
@PoolarityChannel4 жыл бұрын
Safety Issue, a 2 prong plug is not Grounded.
@AuroraColoradoUSA4 жыл бұрын
@@PoolarityChannel Sure it is, that's why it's polarized. You have any citations saying a two prong plug is a safety issue? I can't believe a consumer has a problem with a two prong plug. Never heard that complaint before. I have a Black & Decker chopsaw (miter saw) with a two prong plug. I have a Wagner heat gun with a two prong plug. Good luck...

Toy plastic? I'm into plastics. How does he tell that it's "toy plastic"? What is toy plastic, specifically? You know, like HDPE or UHMW. That complaint sounds nitpicky to be putting in a "negative" column. Plastics come in a vast array of different types. What specifically is a "toy plastic"? I guess he just means "cheap". One would think plastics used to make toys are actually very sturdy since toy makers do not want to be injuring kids with broken plastic parts.

This dude is fucking weird. He says it has toy plastic and then proceeds to say that you should put stuff on top of the flat top. He's a real nut for sure.
