I got this kit, the built quality is excellent, on par with higher end kits. To me, it rivals the Roland Td17kvx. The module is good, colored screen, very easy navigation. KIT sounds are good, not as good as Roland. Practice songs in the module are not good. But what is important, I connected the kit easily to mac and setup ezdrummer lightning fast. Now it sounds amazing. Listen NuX if you want to nail it, collaborate with ezdrummer or steven slate for the samples on your modules

those pads, according to the manufacturer, are dual trigger (head and rim for the snare/toms and 3 zone for the cymbals), but there is no setup guide on how to do that ANYWHERE....have you done that? If "yes" can you make a video about it? Or, at least, direct us to someone who has. Thanks

They answered me via email. The Bluetooth connects via telephone. Not so useful. It won't work with Bluetooth headphones. I'm not a drummer but the cymbals respond quickly and clearly.

Just purchased one of these ... and it does not output HH pedal position on a CC#. So no variable hi hat control. So my old DTX450 is actually better for using to trigger drum VST's.

You need to go into trigger edit for the snare and adjust the sensitivity of the rim trigger.

The Bluetooth on the module does not need to be turned on, it is turned on by default. Just turn on the bluetooth of the mobile phone, search dm-7 on the mobile phone, and connect. Bluetooth is used for play music, not for bluetooth headphone.

Hey. So i just purchase the dm7x back on ferbruary but today, all of a sudden my ride cymbal broke down. By broken i mean, it doesnt make any sound. I tried swapping the cable between different cymbal pad but the cable works just fine which mean that the problem is the ride cymbal. Can anyone help me?

Halo, sy baru beli DM7X ini, namun menemukan kendala yg membutuhkan solusi seperti, suara bass drum tidak keluar bila pakai double pedal, cymbal kurang responsif ketika dipukul (suara kurang konsisten), dan hi hat pedal tidak responsif buka tutupnya. The module hardware is the same, but according to different mesh heads, the default setting has a slight difference to fit the best sound.

The DMX7 has Remo mesh on all drums, the DM7 has Remo mesh only on the snare. Unbranded mesh on other drums.

@@iyungakbar4611 Depends on how the modules are set. The new Roland sounds closest to a real drum kit, especially the cymbals. But the price, unless your wealthy or need it for a pro tour, is astronomical.
