Hello bro, all the Rectifier and JC120 settings are in the video: 2:37 Only change for V5 firmware: Use the native cabinet of the MG-30 V5 V412 (Vintage 30) + U87 Mic (middle position) + Low cut 69Hz and High Cut 5000Hz. Thanks for the detailed video. I was wondering if it would be possible to assign NMP-2 with A and B to bank up and down and the footswitches on the pedal from left to right assigned to change patches, ie, 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D (double press control switch). So when I press B, then 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D are available, and so on. This would be much better for a live situation.

Hello my friend! Thanks! I have been using the MG30 as my main multiFX intensively for live shows, rehearsals, and studio recordings since 2021, and I only have compliments for it. As for the other mentioned devices, I cannot provide an opinion as I have never had them in my hands. Take some time and watch my MG30 videos, especially the newer ones, as the firmware has been consistently improving the MG30 with each update. It is my number one multiFX today (July 2023) among the many multiFX units I own. I highly recommend it. Hello John! Thanks! Your connection is correct. So you can listen to your guitar and the sounds from your computer. // Another option is to remove the Focusrite from the game, connect the MG30 directly to the computer using a USB cable. So you can use Mg30 as multi-effects + USB interface. Mg30 will replace Focusrite. Then you can connect your audio monitors to the Mg30's L/R outputs to listen to your guitar + computer sounds. 2:53

Edit: Quanto ao som final, não há tanta diferença entre a 30 e a 300 pois as duas são muito boas. A diferença fica na quantidade de recursos que a 30 tem, então podemos trabalhar mais os timbres e a controlabilidade superior com o footswitch externo e o CTRL, além de ter dois processadores e conexões send/return.

Hi, a bit of noise is inherent in guitar tones; it's part of their character, especially in real amps. When you finish playing, just turn down the guitar's volume knob like we see our heroes do in live shows. But if your noise is extreme to the point of being bothersome, and not like the level of noise in my video, there might be something wrong with your guitar's electrical installation, cables, or even the power supply. Hi! You need to balance the MG30's drive levels with your guitar and pickups. Are you using single coils? Presets like Petrucci, Slash, Metallica for example are indicated for guitars with humbucker pickups because the patches have higher saturation levels. Note in the Google Drive folder where I left the patches for download, that there is one of the presets with the name "Petrucci DS st". This patch has been tuned for use with single coils but is not guaranteed to be noise free because all single coils have "hum" (natural noises from this type of pickup).

Are you using the original MG30 power supply? If you are using another one and the amperage is lower, you will have noise. In live shows the Master knob of my MG30 is around 40%. If I put it above that the sound guys complain that the signal is getting too loud into the mixer. :)

Olá Marcos! Eu nunca tive a G6 em mãos, não sei te responder. Gosto bastante da Mg30. Atualmente é a que uso para meus trabalhos pessoais. Os preamps são muito bons e a abertura para usarmos o IR que quisermos nos dá um leque muito grande de possibilidades para chegarmos em um timbre. Acho que isso tb se aplica à G6 mas como disse nunca tive em mãos. Com a chegada dos IRs às pedaleiras populares resolveu-se muito o problema da sonoridade das simulações de gabinete que tínhamos em multi-efeitos digitais. A nossa preocupação agora deve estar diretamente sobre os preamps. E ver quem consegue simular de forma mais realística os preamps.

Hi Benny! The MG30 uses 48kHz IRs / The GP200 uses 44.1kHz IRs according to the company's website.

The problem is that the change process can alter the texture of the original IR sound. After you make the change from 48 to 44.1, use a plugin as NadIR in your DAW, test both IRs and check if there were any alters in the final sound. *You can also contact the manufacturer and ask if you can use 48kHz, 96kHz IRs on your GP200 normally even if the device only supports 44.1kHz.

Right now (2021/2022), the MG30 is the multiFX that is connected directly to my computer all the time and recording about 95% of my works here in the studio. So, I can use my personal IR, I just choose the preamp from the various models available.

Right now, the IR that I like the most and that I've been using on the MG30, Mg300 and IR loader pedals like the Cab Box very often is the V30 SM57 in the center that I've shared in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3PEkKZth7ONaKc // This IR was produced for me to my specs and lots of testing. It goes really well with almost every preamp I've tested. I always like to turn on the EQ after the IR and make fine adjustments to each preset. Thanks!
