Fala cara, é bom que você faça para que o sistema não apresente bugs. A própria Nux diz no Update Guide: "Nós recomendamos fortemente um factory reset e a calibragem do pedal de expressão". É bom fazer.

Sim Thadeu! Lançaram a 5.0.1 beta que havia bugs mas corrigiram e lançaram no site há algumas semanas. Desde então eu já vinha usando o 5.0.1 oficial ao vivo, em estúdio e aqui no canal sem problemas. A 5.0.2 veio pra corrigir alguns pequenos problemas que a Nux identificou, mas eu mesmo nem tinha notado. Aproveitei que ia atualizar a minha e fiz o vídeo pra deixar o tutorial registrado no canal. Abração.

Fala Esdras, o FW V5 é completamente diferente das versões anteriores. É como se fosse uma nova pedaleira com funções novas que não haviam na versões antigas. Soando melhor, nem senti a necessidade de instalar IRs externos até o momento. Não estou usando mais os presets antigos. Estou refazendo tudo novo. Abração cara!

Fala Breno, sim. Havia alguns bugs então retiraram e ajustaram tudo com a V5.0.2. Aproveitei que ia instalar na minha e fiz o vídeo demonstrando alguns cuidados na preparação que eu faço para todos os multi-efeitos antes de iniciar uma atualização de firmware como salvar os presets no pc, fazer um factory reset, usar um Nobreak pra evitar danos aos equipamentos. Caso haja uma queda de energia durante o processo o computador e a pedaleira continuarão funcionando por uns 30 ou 40 minutos, isso dará tempo de concluir o processo e evita possíveis dores de cabeça :) Após a atualização eu faço outro Factory Reset, etc... Deixei tudo no vídeo. Faço assim há anos e nunca tive problemas. Abração cara!

Amém Ronaldo! Deus te abençoe também cara. Tá bem rápido. Se o delay dos patches forem os mesmos a calda continua soando mesmo que esteja desligado no patch seguinte. Tipo, se você estiver usando um patch com Pan Delay por exemplo, terminar o solo e mudar pra outro patch que tenha o Pan Delay na cadeia, mesmo que desligado, a calda do delay do patch anterior continuará soando. Há um pequeno corte na mudança entre patches mas está muito rápido. Todas as pedaleiras que tenho ou já tive fazem esse corte mas está muito rápido na Mg30. Abração cara! Obrigado por comentar.

Hi, I'm not using any of the old presets anymore. MG30 is a new multifx. Sounds better. I'm redoing everything new. The patches I exported in the video were V5.0.1, so I brought them to V.5.0.2 and they are working ok. Regarding the old versions, I believe it won't work. In this case, it is best to first ask Nux technical support or the official FB group. // When in doubt, you can write down the settings of your favorite patches, or even capture all of your patch settings in Quicktone by filming your computer screen using programs like aTube Catcher and after the update, replicate them to V5 manually.

I'm gutted. I was going to buy the MG30 because I thought it was a stand alone unit , but appears you have to be pretty good with computers to use it. All I do on my PC is browse the internet. Do you know of a good computer book to teach you about all these programs and menus and how to use them?

This tutorial video (step by step) is one of them. *Sometimes, manufacturers make improvements to the firmware, and it needs to be updated. The other "books" I made voluntarily with the sole intention of helping are in the playlists, where in each video (illustrated book) I demonstrate a sound and then show how to program it on the MG-30. I did the same for several other devices like the GT100, HD500x, GT1, MG400... I hope my books can help you with something. Valeu Ricardo. Dependendo da versão que você use talvez seus antigos patches não possam ser instalados. Então antes de atualizar recomendo usar um programa como o aTube Catcher pra filmar a tela do seu computador. Abre o Quicktone e filma as configurações dos seus principais patches. Depois você copia manualmente para a V5, caso o antigo preset não instale porque o sistema do FW mudou todo. Abração cara! :)

Se forem os meus não é preciso filmar porque eu sempre deixo as configurações usadas nos vídeos aqui no KZbin. Então dá pra copiar manualmente e ajustar para o V5. :) Agora, os patches que você fez ou de outras pessoas faz o processo que falei acima porque aí depois é só copiar.

Hi, I think they're great. Watch the videos "MG30 Marshall Clean Tone V5" or "NUX MG 30 VOX AC30 Clean, Crunch, Hi Gain V5". Both sound great live and on recordings. The link to the V5 playlist is in the description. I will still make presets using the Fenders on the new FW V5 but the "NUX MG 30 CLEAN Funk Groove Cory Wong style" preset using an old firmware is also great for recording and live shows. :) Thanks bro!

They fixes some things and broke another in every firmware update. In this V5.0.2 Harmonist MOD don't work if you put EQ before Harmonist in Effects Chain. Put Harmonist before EQ and voilá, thats works!. What a crappy thing !

Hi, I tested it right now and everything worked fine here on my MG30. I'm using headphones and I noticed that if we position the HPS before the EQ it will sound mono, if we position it after the EQ the HPS will sound stereo. I always use stereo. *You're probably connected to a mono audio system, so you're not hearing the harmonist because it's panning left and right. In this case, use it before the EQ.
