NUX Time Core Delay Pedal Demo

Hi All. I bought one of these and there are a few things you might like to consider before you buy one. 1. Tap tempo works fine except for a couple of issues that make it impractical. Firstly, it makes a loud pop as you enter tap tempo mode, secondly to turn the pedal off you have to leave tap tempo mode. So here's what happens, you step on the button for 2 seconds to enter tap tempo (POP!) and tap out the tempo, all well and good. Then when you want to turn the delay off (say at the end of your solo), you have to stand on the button for 2 seconds to exit tap tempo mode at which point the delay time then reverts to a preset delay time (which presumably is not correct which is why you entered tap tempo mode in the first place). Now you can turn the delay off. All in all this delay sounds great but it is just useless as a tool on your pedalboard if you want to use either the looper or the tap tempo function. If you are just looking for a basic delay which you manually set the time then it works fine. If anyone from n-UX is reading this then here's what you need to do. 1 after the tempo has been tapped out automatically revert to normal button function after say...3 seconds. 2 Make the looper able to stop and start once a loop has been created. Then this pedal would be awesome instead of just seriously average :-) Cheers Shane - Awesome channel and love your playing

Thanks for your comment. I just bought used one and I though that it is damaged in some way. Now I know that it's normal for this model (and makes it useless on pedalboard ;) ).

I've had no problem with this pedal and the looper is perfectly fine. Best cheap pedal i've ever bought.

ATTENTION! DONT BUY THIS if u wanna use it on stage. This damn stuff has no volume level knob! U switch it on and volume goes up a lot compared to the dry sound. update:That probably was just stupid I wrote. There is a Mix button.. but the other thing I notice that it cuts some of my bright/treble from my guitar's tone.

i bought it from aliexpress. the delay ..its just delay and theres a real difference between tape and digital. its well achieved. the reverse is ok. i use it in Modulation and digital.

I have seen all of the Core Series pedals by Nux this one is certainly nice but why don't they make a Reverb pedal I don't understand it and as far as I know none of the other core pedals have a Reverb option?

The build quality is fine. Better than the Time Force. Just make sure you run it off an isolated power supply, or use an individual adapter. Nux pedals can be a little wierd with ma, my Time Force won't work on my power supply, but it works fine with a single 9v/1000ma adapter. I'd take this over the Time Force.

Antonello Salmaso The way to use the tap tempo is to hold it down a few secs, then tap ur desired tempo, then hold it down again to save it, cheers bro

What's the catch on these nux pedals you have been reviewing lately? They are inexpensive, have tons of features and sound great. Are they low on the build quality or something? They have a nux mg 100 multi effects pedal with an expression pedal attached for about the same price as a digitech with the same features for the same price new as what the digitech goes for used on ebay. Are they just new and trying to get customers with a low price? These nux pedals seem to good to be true at the price point they are at.

They are great. They are built well, they sound good, and the majority of the effects are tap-tempo which a lot of pedal don't have. Not sure if there's anything to be concerned about I think they are great. :)

Hello! I have a slight issue with Nux TimeCore. After I set delay time using tap tempo it cant stay after I bypass it. On the Boss you hold down for 2 seconds for tap tempo mode, then tap your tempo and then you again hold down for 2 seconds to exit tap tempo mode. Then you can switch effect on and off and tempo (delay time) stays. Whats up with Nux? How can I not loose that tempo that I just tapped in?!

Can anyone who owns this link me to a AC adaptor that works for it? I followed the manual and bought a negative, 300ma DC adaptor by Planet Waves and it doesn't work for it. Also, batteries just get hot, but don't power it on (I used good batteries).

Sounds pretty harsh. The tape setting didn't sound remotely like tape. Save your duckets and buy a TC Electronic Flashback.
