Hi, I've recently found your channel and I love your content! Despite it being a scary game, your voice is very calming and eases my anxiety! Your guides are amazingly well done and very informative! I did have a question if you didn't mind! I can't seem to understand the Crucifix. I did watch your guide but I can't seem to ever get the "Prevent a hunt with the crucifix" task to get crossed over and each attempt I end up dying. I would place it in front of where I'd hide/I would place it in the ghost's room yet nothing is working for me.. Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you! When placed on the floor, the crucifix will prevent up to 2 hunts if the ghost tries to initiate a hunt within a 3m radius of the crucifix. After the second use, it will disappear. Place them where you can cover as much space as possible, probably near the center of the room in order to reduce the chance of a hunt. Sometimes the ghosts can still initiate hunts just outside the 3m protection range so you aren't always 100% safe. I also wouldn't try to use these or complete the optional objective in larger rooms as they won't cover enough area to protect you compared to the size of the room. Hope this helps!

One way to identify that a crucifix has prevented a hunt while you're inside is that all the lights will turn off, but the breaker will not.

So, this is interesting. I played Ridgeview like 3 hours ago, and the ghost room was the exact same place your ghost room was. It was a Shade, I was with my friends (full-squad) and it was still kinda active even if we were all there xd. Oh, and also.. Had it narrowed down to either Rev or Shade. Activity board gave the emf5 and there was no freezing. It kept turning lights on which indicated it wasn't a Jinn. Wasn't active enough for an Oni.

I admire how you always stay so calm in these situations. I just wish I had your confidence, because as soon as a hunt starts, I freak out too much and run to the first place I see room to run to, and I'm too scared to take the time to look for the ghost. Although I haven't died yet (even though I've only played a total of maybe 5 games with my two friends) I've gotten pretty close to it from going with my instincts. I also wanted to do a solo run, but never had the confidence, and I'm not able to use my microphone to talk to it, and the uv flashlight never shows the fingerprints. Any advice?

I was playing with a full group of randos on high school, and I found out what the ghost was just by the fact that it outran me, it being a revenant. Of course the rest of my team left and didn't get the score for it but still. Your advice teaching us what ghosts do what really helped me there. :)

my guess was oni, here's how I made my prediction: in the first 5 minutes, we didn't see our breath, which narrows it down to Spirit, Revenant, Jinn, Oni, Shade, and Poltergeist. At 9:07, on the total activity meter we see both an increase and decrease of 4, so we know it's probably EMF 5. This narrows it down to Revenant, Jinn, and Oni. I was undecided between Revenant and Oni, because revenants tend to be quiet until they hunt, and onis are usually more active in multiplayer when there are multiple people nearby. It wasn't doing enough to be a jinn. My guess would've been oni, but the hunt at the end gave it away...

I had thought it was either a poltergeist or an oni at first. I started to doubt poltergeist though as we became more aware of how shy the ghost was. In my experience, poltergeists are usually pretty active! Onis are almost like a more toned down poltergeist but then I saw the activity board in the truck and ruled it out. Ususally onis cause a lot of activity spikes so yeah. After that, I didn't really know what to think. I had had a jinn in mind until that hunt.

Hello! I got a small tip for you when doing No evidence! Shades and oni’s are reversed if you’re solo, if i’m right. Shade’s will not leave you alone at all and oni’s will be as close to sleeping possible (they’re really passive) -AlterixXVIII
