About the Maip, they are no longer as squishy as you think as their health has been increased from 450 HP to 600 HP, so yeah now they are even harder to fight as Allo.

Maips who straight up use charge claw are doing it wrong anyway. Way too much stam and not nearly enough damage for what the basic claw can do. You will shred anything and everything with the basic claw attack in a quarter of the time as the charged. No stam cost either. Not many things will want to eat those claws with how quick they can be dished out, nevermind allo.

The new update just happen and allo got it's bleed significantly increased. Claw attack now doe 1x bleed, and hachet bite now deals 1.25x bleed which I'm pretty sure is the highest in the game.

I main stego, and I've fought some people using that build of yours, when they know what they are doing, trying to bait tail hits etc, the fight is completely different, it is more like a bewitching dance, the allos follow your moves and counter, and you try to be as unpredictable as possible. I love Allo in PVP. It is the most balanced and reactive dinosaur when handled by a skilled player. It will never be too strong if it beats you, and you have a chance versus it if you play into your own dino's strengths.

Keen allo main here. Good content. I've had the (dis)pleasure of fighting The 3 Small Trikes on the regular. Sty was superior to allo in both turn rate and turn radius even before the Balanced tail nerf. Outstams a LDR allo too. A good sty I find will be in a constant sprint turn, tailriding you at full speed, planting its horn up your rear end with great conviction until you die. If you stop to reposition using precise movement they simply peel off and gain separation before coming in from your rear again. Nothing you can do, no way to trade hits with them. For each tail swipe you land on them they gore you thrice. Bert has a similar turn radius to allo and is a tough fight for solo fragilis, but speed allo wins by enough of a smidge in turn rate due to its greater landspeed that it will tailride bert in an all-out turnfight. Nasuto I haven't found a way to kill because they have everything sty does and more.

@@CarolusFlex All three subs are good, just have to learn playstyle of each. They are quite different from each other with the main deciding factor being speed. As for skills, your make-or-break choice is traction vs. LDR. Allo needs both depending on the opponent. A yuty or kent will make you need LDR but a sty, bert, or dasp will make you need traction.

I never thought that Allo was bad, I just think he was out classed. Even in vanilla he’s outclassed by Sucho, and so,e what Dasp. If you’re talking about modded it’s even worse. Creatures that basically take over Allos nitch and do Allos job better are really common. Maip, Yang, Cryo, and some what Dilo. Sucho and Dasp are not as much of a problem on modded servers because of stat changes the servers do, even with the buffs Allow he can’t compete. Once again, Allow is not bad it’s out competed by everything. Edit: re-watching the video I’ve kind of noticed that you prove that Allo is good, but you also proved that it’s not good enough to punch in its same weight class.

Sucho is just the ultimate non apex carni. Apart from sucho I‘ve never struggled against any carnis. From cera to pycno to dasp. Allo can murder all. a really good dasp or a dasp of the same skill may make it very even. So it is fully capable of fighting in his own weight class so I really don‘t know what you mean.

@@thedogman7846 In general Allo is out classed. Not to mention I don’t know your skill level or the skill level of the people you were fighting. Well yes Allo if played well can punch in its own weight class, it’s not gonna be able to punch out of it like other sub Apex like Dasp and Sucho. Plus you didn’t mention moded creatures, which like I said if we taking into account, Allo is even more outclassed. It’s not about the skill that is put behind the creature it matters about if it’s worth the time to put into it. Consistency is always better. Allo is not consistent. You may be able to get an Apex down to death scars and kill it, or you’ll have a mid tier rock your shit. With creatures in the same size bracket as Allo like Dasp, Sucho, Maip, Yang, Cryo, and Torvo. It’s not all about skill if you know the creature you’re playing is going to be more consistent and give better results with less effort. I would only suggest playing Allo if you really like how it plays. I’ve put 2500 hours into Styracosaurus because I find it fun to play. Is it consistent, no. But am I having fun while playing it, yes. I suppose the more time you sink into a creature the more consistent you will get with it, but even with my hours in Styrac I know I can’t kill a Spino no mater the skill diff or time sunk into it. And I think that’s really what I’m trying to get at. no matter how much time you sink into Allo, it will never beat someone of an equal skill level or greater.

On the topic of tail riding apexs like giga, I genuinely feel like the kicks should be removed. They do way too much damage and are way too easy to use, especially when you look at stomp on rex and spino. They also make it way too easy for apexs to counter really small dinos imo, especially if the apex has both tail and kick on. Also I still want an allo buff, just a slight increase to stam at least, im pretty sure sucho outstams it still which makes no sense to me that a larger semi-aquatic can outstam a smaller land based dino

Other allos have hated me since my juvenile stage on officials. 99% of my interactions with other allos is fights to the death on sight with 01% being friendly to me. One memorable instance I was surrounded by a huge mega pack of other allos and forced to fight a speed one. He lost the fight as I play double defense and the others promptly killed me. It grieves me to no end as I want to experience fighting in an allo pack, but can't even remotely trust my own species at all. If I wanted endure this much species betrayal I'd be on my sarco.

I can say with pride that I have my own allo that I've used to great effect. It's honestly in my opinion the best dinosaur you can play in the game (mods excluded) My kills include (note not all at once); 2 nosutos, a Dasp, a yut, a kentro, 3 austros, 2 kapros and a sarco. I think achi and zrex are both yellow because if you can find both with the wrong abilities you can kill them kinda easy. An achillo with raptor strikes and claw attack can shred an allo if you tail ride it.if your smart and tail gate and get some lucky bites or claws on a zrex you can best it but if the zrex is smart an allo will lose 70% of the time but thanks for the vid gunn Edit: pyc is yellow as well if it's better skilled

I think you could've done better against sucho. I've killed multiple in a row with allo and they got me to around half. You just have to go full turn build and 100% sweat tail ride, they can't escape cause their same speed and they can't out turn you. But yeah if you use normal build it's close

I played Allo some today on Crimson semi realism, I had saw in the chat that hatchet bite got a buff and does 25 physical dmg plus the bleed now or something so I decided to play it, but I think it might just be for the server I play on I don’t know. I think Allo is good though, fun to play. turning speed isn’t that good for a smaller Dino though in my opinion (I say smaller because I usually always play apex’s), I would really like to see a modded Allo by PT or DB to see what they would create and how it would look and play, and of course what kinds of abilities it would have

Ah, how I love Allosaurus, it's one of my favorite dinos, but the way the developers are destroying it is very painful to watch. I just want to express my opinion about this dino and what the author of the video said. Yes, Allo is an average dino, he has no speed, no stamina, no damage, no agility and maneuverability, some health. Allo can only kill those who are already on stats or worse in skills, for everyone else he is just a piece of meat. In solo he can't kill Gig or Rex, I'm not talking about Spino. Even two Allo's are hard to kill apex who hides his ass or can hit. The only ones that Allo can definitely kill are Dasp (Allo has more stamina and no big bite cooldown), Zuho (on land Allo leaves him no chance, just kills him with his tail, goes in ass) and a couple others, only because they are worse on stats, but if Allo turns out to be worse on skills then gg. Killing Allo will be no problem for Cera, Achillo, Maip, Yuty and other small/medium dinos. He gets punched in the face from almost all herbivores. This is why Allo is the weakest for me. Every time I play as him, I wonder why I'm doing this. I won't be able to kill apexes, I won't be able to fight back small ones, and it's very rare to meet commensurate solo dinos. I'm just a meat carcass for any person who will be the same in skills as me or there will be 2 or more of them. The funny thing is, Amarg used to be one of the weakest dinos, but now he's on par with Iggy, but Allo has been around for so many years, he came before Amarg and still is nothing...it's sad. I would love to play him but why when there's Cera, Achi, Dasp, Zucho, Rexy, Giga and other predators, I don't know. (I don't speak English, this was translated through a translator)

Okay, the fights shown were very interesting. Zucho. This player was clearly worse than Allo in skills and still won. He let his tail bite him, didn't hit allo. What if Zucho was a little smarter? Every newbie who chooses this dino will feel the pain and frustration. It's like the rex in The isle legacy for newbies a real nightmare, but for experienced players not a bad option, but there are more interesting dinos.

I used to play iggy quite a bit and I've been able to 1v1 allot no problem, even 2v1 if I'm locked in. The kick does a lot of damage and iggy is bigger then allo so it does even more

As one of allos biggest fanboys since its release I think allo is in one of the best spots it’s ever been in but it’s still not great like it can actually hold its own in certain matchups (all the 2 slots and smaller herbivores) and just gets demolished in others ( claw barrage sucho). I think allos biggest issue right now is getting worn down far too quickly both health and stamina wise because of its non existent regen on both as well as that overly harsh speed nerf a while back. Give it a slight speed buff and good health and stam regen and it would be perfect with the rest of its current stats.

5:18 imo sty and nasuto vs allo is fairly balanced but skill reliant on both players.I have killed Allos as Sty and nasuto and killed them as a allo(sometimes bleeding out).But generally I think there that the only green would be kentro.The ceratopsians do pretty decent against allo it’s just skill reliant.Alberta has dmg and health nasuto has dmg and speed and middle health while sty has dmg and bleed and speed.

That tail trading with that sucho. If you were going counter clockwise with him you'd land more hits with your tail. If curves more in the other direction than the one the Sucho was on.

Along side this, Ive learned of a few dinos having safer sides to be on if their are tail oriented in their attacks. Just gotta see which way their tail curves more to and avoid that side

I've never lost a fight with an allo as a dasp. Also I've never been killed by one as any other dino unless it was with a mixpack or something.

also tbh the colour coding... i dont really agree with. Its just my opinion but i think achillo is a very solid opponent for allo as its just a lighter more DPS suited cera so it should be an amber. Also, metri , if u dont have tail attack or even if the metri is okay is still deadly as it has higher combat weight than the cera.(but i mean its claw only does 35 damage) but still is quite deady.also , cryo is VERY easy to kill and should be in green.

I watched the entire video and all the pvp footages, and I agree that allo is underrated, however i still think theres dinos that are basically a better version of allo, for example sucho is a better version of allo, has more health, more damage (overpowered claw attack which the sucho u fought didnt use much), slick hide if needed and the ability to swim I like allo, its not as bad as most people think, but its a shame because it needs a little buff, allo has no slick hide to avoid pounces and achillos destroy allos

As a Maip player, I respect Allos. While I do have the skill to beat one in a 1v1, Allos can definitely pack a punch. Even then, I’ll find an Allo that will give me a hard time!
