They better not nerf it. It's meant to be a tank. Sauropods were not weak by any means. In real life, a full-grown one was nigh invincible. Even the biggest predators had trouble taking down one. It would take a whole gang to bring one down. Similar to today with lions and elephants

@@Dinofan2580 I would say apex carnivores wouldn't even mess with a full grown Apato even in a small group. Maybe if the adult Apato was injured or sickly then maybe but a healthy one I doubt it because it would be to much of a risk being around its whip like tail and its size compared to them.

Apato genuinely is amazing. thats good, and not good. ITs amazing balance wise, meaning it literally has no weaknesses as a 6 slot. It can literally 1vs2 apexes with relative ease if you manage cooldowns and attack range. Spamming basic tailwhip is so good, and the charged one only takes a second for full dmg. Its stomps hit good, its neck swaip is good, only its stomp and neck slam are situational. Its tanky as all get out, and has amazing bleed res. It has no weaknesses.

Absolutely love this mod. Its hard to actually find anything that wants to fight but it took 2 acros, a kapro and a giga to kill me and i got both acros, the kapro and had the giga on death scars. That was my first apa fight too so i was pretty bad xD

These are some good fights! You should REALLY use Headbutt, though. It's more important than you think. The Big Stomp is also pretty useless, I started running my Front Left Kick over it.

they should improve the hitbox for the stomp and decrease the damage done by the tail, the other abilities have no use besides no front riding. A tank yes, but it should not be a bruiser.

A directional attack actually plays a different animation depending on where you're looking, currently kentro has them on its tail iirc. This is functionally similar but also different, the animation is the same but the tail is angled, like how you can look left or right to change where your bite hits.

ive been focusing on your apato fighting tactics this video- you use the stomp to bait them a lot, and especially during the second fight, you couldve hit them with stomp multiple time. also conserve your stamina more. love it though, get back to me if you can

Geez, it's a lovely model but the hitboxes seem wonky from the first 2 fights. Are the apato's hips it's most armored spot because if 2 adult apexes can't get the health down to half on a single individual, nothing can.

Wanna know what I hate more than Loft. Every other server their all shit and garbage no one actually cares about palaeontology and how these dinosaurs would’ve lived or is it just me because when I have my own server the herbivore to carnivores ratio will be every 20 herbivores in one POI there’s one or two carnivores. Apex limit will be put up and only two apexes will be allowed to be active at once and the herds for herbivores will be extremely realistic so carnivores have more of a look at what it’s like to have a rough growth compared to what other servers have done it’s sad and miserable and I’m sick of it like seeing a lone apatosaurus is just depressing so the apatosaurus herd limit will be eight adults or more and herbivores will be allowed to attack first but only Ceratopsians and stegosaurs and nodosaurs and ankylosaurs and some sauropods will be allowed to attack first just depends on what time period the server is at for that month or which region of the world the servers in
