I think you are on windows 11 just go back to windows 10 this will fix your problem either uninstall updates👍

so i got the camera working but when i record anything on nvid theres no camera ive tried the hud layout settings and theres no option with this new update anyone know how to add a camera to nvid for game clips/recordings

If you are using windows 11 then this might not get fixed roll back your windows into windows 10.

I’ve been troubleshooting this issue for two days and finally figured out what’s causing it. The problem is the Windows Firewall, probably due to a bug in the latest Windows update. Here’s what you need to do: 1. Disable the Windows Firewall. 2. Restart your PC. 3. Turn on NVIDIA Broadcast, and that’s it! Also, when the next Windows update arrives, don’t forget to turn the Firewall back on. I hope this helps anyone dealing with the same issue! Merry Christmas if you're celebrating! 🎄
