Question:My laptop is ryzen 7 3570h with GTX 1660 ti 16/512 I want to make use of the dual ram so would adding an 8gb ram effect the performance like resulting in better frame rates??

If your rams your bottle neck it could help increase frame rate

add the same stick of 8 ram speed and company if is not possible match speed and cl u get like 25-30% fps more

its real bro. in some games fps reduce. i also face some lagy experience with frame gen on gtx 1660s.
