This is a very extensive showcase, cheers. The 740 GDDR5 seems like a really overlooked card. Just like with the GDDR5 variant of the GT730, it uses bugger all power too. Great little budget card, fair play.

yea i find very very difficult for a GT740m to perform that way... i have an Asus n56vb (i3 3120, 8gb 1600mhz, GT740m with 1366x768 15' display) and i do not think this GPU can even stand a Far Cry 3 at high settings in 720p

Turn off anti aliasing and you will play on 60 fps. Trun off AA in most games with gt740m

Actually proccesser make a huge difference. If you guys dont have Intel i3 4th 3.4Ghz then congrats you are going to face a huge fps drop as mine. I have i5-4200U and i am facing 10 20 fps drops in all the games with same specs except for the processor lol

It is not a dedicated GPU nevertheless you should check in your BIOS for any shared memory. Be aware nevertheless that those extra 256mb won't make a huge difference... since that card is only suited for 720p light/old gaming so lack of VRam won't be your primary concern and whatever textures you can fit in 1gb you'll fit in 768mb anyway (medium textures on most MOBAs and old AAA games)
