nah, he's clueless. this is mining all over again, sure gpus were what was used until purpose built silicon ie asics came into the picture. There's only a handful of years left for Nvidia's captive market till Jensen's big pocket buyers ramp up their inhouse silicon. Jensen is already prepared with their entry into the robotics market lol.

@@thesmokingman GPU's are more cost effective and can be used for many different applications and thus resold down stream when better generations come out. ASIC's are only good for one customer's single task. They can't be reassigned to new tasks.

there is a point alot are missing,,,,AI is the future okay....that means chips will be alot cheaper since productivity will be higher,,,,take for example the prices of internet transit back in 1999 it was 1200$/mbps now its 1 DOLLAR / mbps....the price of chips will come down that means the margins of nvda amd etc will come down

once the liquidity dries up which has pumped the markets for the last 2 years people will realize how overvalued the companies were . The bond market liquidity is arriving in the stock market since 2021 ever since bondholders realized the American debt will never come down they quit on it and are trying to find new invest ops mostly stocks or just holding gold. The increase in yeilds since the rate cut is proff people are quitting the treasuries market and turning to gold or other inflation hedge assets like bitcoin
