The expectations are unrealistic at this point. What company on planet earth is beating revenue by $2B?
@sylvainh2o15 сағат бұрын
they need to up the production. They have higher demand they what they can produce. They also forced to rely too much on TSMC etc. They need to start producing their own chip and doing computer CPU could be nice as well.

Nvda is beating by 2 billion.
@5600hp14 сағат бұрын
You need to look at valuation too . PE ratio is 68, ps ratio 38 . It’s priced for crazy growth and super high expectations.
@sylvainh2o13 сағат бұрын
@@5600hp True but when you look at people piling up in Palantir it sounds much more crazy and yet people have such high conviction. Also i never understood why AMD have a PE ratio 2x higher then Nvidia when it's the underdog and doesn't show sign to have a sudden burst that would make it become as competitive and big then Nvidia.
@5600hp13 сағат бұрын
@ AMD is also priced for high expectations but it does have some metrics that’s better than NVDA , for example, 1/10th the PS ratio of NVDA , 1/15th the PB ratio of NVDA , plus it’s much smaller market cap than NVDA makes it easier to go higher as a popular stock amongst retail investors , as opposed to a 3 trillion market cap. Despite that it has better performing CPU and data center sales than Intel in the most recent quarters, the stock actually way under performs Intel in the past 3 months . Which I think also has to do with its valuation and that market has way higher expectations. That’s just what I think . Market sentiment plays a huge role in stock prices and I can be totally wrong about valuations. There are a lot of people out there who think valuation doesn’t matter anymore it seems.

I really wish the analyst gave insight into WHY the forecast wasn't enough. The rationale is NOT in Nvidia's sales projections, it's the fact that market analysts are setting unrealistic expectations.
@HarmonixsLoLСағат бұрын
That's pretty much it. Great isn't great enough, it's needs to be surprisingly amazing like it's been the past few quarters.

The main focus for markets now is Nvidia, which has powered a large chunk of the S&P 500’s recent earnings. Nvidia’s stock, up more than 90% this year, rose 2.5% in New York on Monday, sending the Nasdaq 100 index to another record high. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

I believe A.I. will be the next major breakthrough. To achieve sustained growth similar to META, it's crucial to resist making hasty decisions based on short-term market changes. Focus on patience and a long-term outlook, and above all, seek financial advice to make informed decisions when buying or selling.

Agreed, the role of advisors can only be overlooked but not denied. I was shocked that I made more money with investing than hard work, not even my CEO income. Earning ''return on investment'' fetched me millions within a space of 5 yrs.(But I still enjoy working)

So the trailing non GAAP EPS number for the past 4 quarters is $2.54. NVDA has a 5 year average P/E of 55 which is roughly where it sits now after this report. The growth has caught up to the share price so assuming NVDA grows its earnings by half the rate it has been over the past year which could be conservative, then we are looking at roughly $4.00 in EPS over the next 4 quarters and a $220 share price 1 year from now.

Nothing has changed. The demand is insane and they are supply constrained. The money will hit in Q1 next year if it doesn't come in Q4 this year. The analyst guest was spot on.
@rahhjur12 сағат бұрын
So funny that they said street was estimating $37, Nvidia gave them $37.5, and it's still not enough lol. I hate how they keep referring to a whisper number, why don't they disclose the whisper number before the report. These guys just never want to be satisfied.
@kevn2312 сағат бұрын
@rahhjur That's because there is no number. If you look back to Q2 and Q3 earnings of last year, NVDA had double digit % beats and the stock still went side ways. Don't worry though because these are just short term price games big money plays. The stock will go up given some time.

They are selling everything they can possibly make. They have a massive backlog of orders and could easily increase prices.

I've been making a lot of looses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
@RupanShonaСағат бұрын
Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies

I will advise you should stop trading on your own if you keep losing.

Not enough$38.5B or higher! What other company can bring in those numbers. Greedy hedge funds just can't wait for this company to have a bad earnings. Yet they buy the stock back when they drop the price like today for example it dropped to $136 and bounced back to $143 and tomorrow it will go even higher cause they know this company is still profitable

As a newbie investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Ruth Ann Tsakonas is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
