The reality is stock got split multiple times and the effect IPO price due to these spilts is $0.41 thereby making the actual gain to be 2317 times from 1999 to now.

I had 300 shares of Nvidia in 2005 and sold it all like the dummy I am. Also, China's supposedly making a 7nm chip is still up for debate. Some experts claim China made them using older chips and a very expensive process. Some say China did make the chips but the way they made it is unsustainable. Meaning, they did it in a way that doesn't allow for smaller chips or speed. Others claim the chips are literally nonsense and it was proven with the new Huawei phone which is worse than the previous versions. That is based on Chinese experts btw, the fact that the new phone is very slow and not worth the price.
