Everyone is talking about the dangers of AI. Historically humans tend organize when their backs are against the wall. Do you really think humans will just give up? Humans might take cities like they have in the past. You can’t build AI fast enough to deal with all the humans that will fight to the death for what they believe is right. The young college students will probably be mid thirties by the time AI intelligence starts to take over the work place in a world changing way. Those people are not going to just give up on life and say sure AI can have my job

I understand what you're saying but sometimes there's technology that leaps ahead of the pack, leaving enough of a gap that the pack can't do anything about it. For example, in the middle east conflict don't you think the people fighting the US coalition are full of spunk and determination? But they stand no real chance of defending themselves. If aliens came to earth and they were advanced enough they can basically do whatever they want and we won't have any real ability to stop them no matter how much spunk and determination we have even as a collective hunan race. AGI will effectively be that alien race that will render humans defenseless in comparison.

@@dattajack Yeah they took that spunk from the Mideast and blew up the twin towers. We aren’t safe it’s only a matter of time until terrorist strike again. To my understanding they will not strike the US again unless the terrorist act is more devastating then 9/11. First off yes AGI can be defeated with humans unified. We got a lot of humans. A high powered EMP isn’t that hard to come by. I mean there is ways to make them cheaply. Hit the super computers take some major cities and they could do jack squat about it. Your like sure let’s let them build robots to replace us in the work force. It’s only natural and bah bah bah. The only thing that could unite humanity is a threat of a different species. Deep in hidden places there are powerful groups of hackers or computer geniuses if you will. Historically these types are the best at using and manipulating computer technology. Don’t you think they are building systems as well? They could find someway of messing things up. Humans have a way of messing things up. Fuck being replaced and the law my end up stopping that to a extent because that means everyone loses job. Well almost everyone.

All I heard at the end was a spin on words. "Robots will govern robots in robot factories to make robot parts." Robots think in numbers so their native tongue is mathematics, equations and algorithms. Letters, words, sentences. Digital souls = Pseudo life

Maybe agents both in software and hardware endowed by the state per the legal individual in a separate but dualistic economic system in parallel with our God given endowment and cash money systems would be the means to ai saftey infrastructure. As if you rent out or work with for hire . So many bot agents per humans. Maybe even 60% to ppl 40% to the state in a human monitoring system for hire . Like how military appears to do a human fighter pilot accompanied by drones. Same with tank units and ground troops..taxis owner operators and Truckers trailed by so many self drivers under moderating conditions. Same in software office occupation agents.
