NVX XCAP10H True 10 Farad Hybrid Capacitor Unboxing

Stiffening capacitors make great noise filters and can even help with headlight dimming in some cases but this unit is in a league of it's own. I bought it for the built in distribution block but suspect it will help with current delivery as well. I will look for a way to test it and post a video if I come up with something that looks promising.

Would it be the same as Rockford like Epiphone to Gibson? Same company and guitars but big difference in price.

vicdamond jr no they don’t. Remote has to come off a key switch.

Not long. I didn't time it, just left it on the bench. The next time I charge it I'll post back!

Yea, my guess is that the NVX cap is more affordable in most cases. I still don't have it installed but I'm getting closer to that install :-)

I would love to see the insides of that thing because there is a lot of fakery regarding “true farad” claims…

It's sitting on a shelf somewhere right now. I've used it a few times, more as a distro block than anything else. If I can find it I'll look at what it takes to open it up. FWIW, it has a fair bit of heft to it, but that could easily just be weights.

WOW I'M SHOCKED AT SONIC ELECTRONIX....THEY NEVER SENT ME ANYTHING THAT WAS NOT PROTECTED!!!!
