The trout you weren't sure of looks like a Golden trout. Fairly rare in the Cascades, but are found in several mountain lakes. I remember from my scouting days almost 60 years ago, that we occasionally caught them in remote lakes in the Washington Cascades like you're at in this video. Thanks for posting and for being a steward of our outdoor treasures. I wouldn't be surprised we camped at the same lake decades ago!

My favorite part was the “Eating the Tortilla” proceeds to try & continue fishing. Awesome video!! Here in Colorado we fish 14-18” trouts it is the best tasting when the fish is a little matured, there’s no other, lemon, salt & butter it’s the best

Dude, the positive and relaxed energy you're spreading in your videos is just insane. I always liked videos about bushcrafting and survival, fishing etc. But you are bringing it to whole another entertainment level. I just love to just watch you enjoying nature. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Germany Edit: I just watched the second episode of this adventure and heard you saying you grew up in a little town in Germany as well. I live in the Black Forest (the very south of Germany).

100%. First berries are not recommended to eat as they are poisonous fresh. There are people that turn them into jelly and make them edible, but my advice would be to stay away from them. Second berry was definitely the Thimbleberry 😂 Thank you for commenting! Fish on!

I’d like to say that I had a hard week man and my son suggested I watch this weeks vid. Without fail it’s made my night and a good close to the week. Greetings from Okinawa.
