I agree 100%, the nWo Elite stuff was the faction’s point of no return. The NWO at most should have been seven members. Hogan, Hall, Nash, then Savage as the 4th member helping Hogan win the title. NWO not attacking the Giant for multiple weeks, then he joins them makes more sense, than what he did out of the blue after Hog Wild. Syxx Pack and Ted DiBiase as the manager. Overall Lucky #7 for the entire group.

I can tell that NWO and peak WCW was definitely your favourite era in wrestling and you hold it close to your heart because of the videos you have released and like you said it was very important and in my opinion such a shame that it had to come to an end I don’t think Bishoff ever got over it and wanted it to last forever. Vince ruined it when they came over to WWF the invasion angle could of been best storyline of all time but he never done them justice or WCW again such a shame!

Can’t blame Vince for things out of his control like Hall relapsing or Nash getting injured or Hogan being cheered. All things (outside of Halls relapse) most couldn’t see coming so why expect Vince to see it. Of the three only Hulk was still in ring shape and able to go.

I started watching Smackdown around the time nWo came there and was immediately a fan. We did not have WWF or WCW showing in Finland in the 90's, so when they referenced the history of nWo in the storylines, it subsequently became part of the nWo "mythology" in our schoolyard discussions. The nWo went the way of the dodo not soon after, but i'm glad i at least saw the end of it. Also glad i was part of the second coming of Hulkamania when Hogan started wearing red and yellow again. Good times, good times.

This was a great video. I missed out on a lot of the original NWO as I was still on dialysis in '96 and got my transplant in '97 .... by the time I started watching WCW I didn't know what the hell was going on. Though it got tiring real quick for me. Been watching wrestling a long time when it was actually good, and I understand the upset rule that fans absolutely dispise today but it got a little overboard with the NWO pretty much running the show, interfering in main events EVERYTIME and the whole thing was spiraling out of control before they even knew it.

Another great video covering the n.W.o. In today's wrestling, the n.W.o should be appreciated more for their impact in wrestling.

Great video and breakdown! Your attention to details with wrestling and it’s stories are much appreciated. I wish nWo was nothing but former WWE/WWF employees. Once they started having the WCW guys join I felt it did a disservice to the story. Still the greatest faction ever in my belief for all they accomplished and changed.

Konnan was a cruiserweight? I missed that ENTIRE run… Every time I’ve seen Konnan he looked a legit 245-250…

Dope video explaining all this! Mannnn my head started to hurt with all the different versions lol . I still think this the best faction ever created in wrestling history. It's just sad how it fell off over those years.

What’s insane is when the nWo was brought to the WWE, the plan was for Triple H to join the nWo, so that The Kliq could reunite as part of the nWo. Sadly, this story was scrapped before that could happen, but man, that would have been awesome.

I remember hearing a story that The Godfather was meant to join as the nWo’s enforcer but was undercut by Virgil so he got the role as Vincent

Yeah it was either him or Ron Simmons either way Virgil was Virgil and got the job

@@AzulQueso yeah that was the point. From a interview on KZbin he said that Eric was going to give him a big contract to be a enforce but Vergil came in and said he would do the same thing for significantly less money. He essentially screwed the godfather out of a big contract at the time and screwed him self by taking a huge pay cut to get the job

@@curtailedbike4123 no one ever claimed Virgil/Vincent was a smart guy look at where he's at now lol 😂 at least we ended up getting godfather and the nation of domination run hall of Fame induction still

I know you probably don't follow NJPW too much but there for a while after Muta joined the group, Keiji Muto still wouldn't join the group for a few months which created a pretty interesting dynamic where Muto was NJPW but Muta was nWo.
