I don't know. Dustin is by all accounts a great wrestler, but dude seems to have zero personality when he's not Goldust. It's like the difference between Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Once that mask is on, (or in this case face paint) he's a different person.

I was 10/11 years old when this came out and remember vividly sitting with my cousin playing this game until the sun came out. Giggling like little girls trying not to wake his mum and dad. Love this games, revenge No mercy etc. the greatest games of all time imo.

Randy Savage may have been one of the most unhinged wrestlers when it came to his personality and the “Macho Madness”, but Randy Poffo was a very good guy and knew the business inside and out, and the work he did with DDP brought him to the grandest stage. Page being able to recognize Randy for the help he gave him, and Randy’s own emotion at that recognition…that’s just humanity at its best.

I had the luck of seeing Goldust at a house show in 1996 when he was in his early stages of the gimmick and his most “ goldust-ish” . The whole thing was on a whole other level.

I never forgot this moment, but NOT for the intended reason. No, I remember it for the guy in the crowd yelling: "You're a (bundleofsticks) Rhodes!" Not applauding the slur, but the guy's comedic timing was on point.

Golddust Mania 12 match is spectacular! The mouth to mouth on Ahmed Johnson was next level. I’ve marked out for the Natural since the cowboy boot in War Games. The Tourette’s Dustin was comedy beyond comprehension and the Booker T team up was as entertaining as it can get.

I like Goldust as much as the next guy but he was not World Champion material, not main event material either. He was a solid upper mid-card guy.

This would be worth playing to play as D'Lo Brown at least

Dustin's facepaint game got so much more detailed and interesting over the years. i always liked how cutting edge Goldust was at the time, the best parts of adrian street with a splice of marilyn manson, and as opposed to his earlier WCW run it was such a unique turn in his career. he's suffered the hardships of some dumb gimmicks and affiliation with his brother/dad in some occasions but always come out swinging.

The biggest issue with this game was the esthetic didnt make much sense. The royal rumble setup is from 99 but this game came out mid to late 2000. The royal rumble logo is from 99 and again this game came out 7 month's after the following royal rumble. Ministry taker is in the game but american badass made his debut back in may. Fun game but the makeup made zero sense lmao😊
