You are correct. The best part of sleeping in the back country is waking up in the mountains listening to the sounds of nature!

Found you through Samong's channel. Love when you guys do videos together! Great videos Steve! Most special part for me is getting away from my busy job, city, etc. and getting back in touch with myself through nature. Come out to Colorado sometime and we can go tenkara fishing!

Love your part of the world and this video made me want to explore more. I try to get down as often as possible. I'm in BC Canada about 2.5 hours straight north of Spokane. It seems like each time I go down I try to scout out new little creeks and streams. Love fishing east and north of CDA. Hope to run into you on a stream someday. Keep fishing and filming!

@@thegrinderdude5921 agreed 👍 I’m very fortunate to live where I do. Appreciate the kind words, BC Canada is also very beautiful. Been thinking about venturing that way someday.

Cool adventure, sorry about your camera man. What’d you think about the quilt? I’ve been thinking about getting that same one. Anything you didn’t like about it?

Only slept in it a few nights so far, I like the weight and size a lot. I’ve had really good experience with stone glacier gear in general. If it drops below 40 I would bring my regular sleeping bag. For summer time and early fall it’s perfect. Hard to beat size and weight. I have a hard time with it fitting right around the bottom of my XL square pad. I think it would fit a round bottom better if that makes sense. I was able to make a few small adjustments to account for that. I would make sure you have a good R rated pad also. If you only buy one product I would go with a sleeping bag honestly. If you can afford both I would buy it again.
