Best start to a video ever! I laughed so hard. Just didn't expect it. Covering the dogs eyes was hilarious 😂 KZbin suggested your video, watched, and now subscribed.

New subscriber. Did a bunch of river canoe/camping in my youth. Love was in the spring air in your intro. :) Atlas seems like a great dog to ride so evenly in a kayak. Several of the other canoe/camp channels I see are from Canadians, glad to see one from our beautiful state of Michigan. I am looking forward to watching through your videos from the beginning and going on your trips vicariously.

Glad to see it was great weather for yall. The sandwiches looked awesome. May have to try them on my next trip. Dog looked comfortable. My little mutt has to be at my feet in my sleeping bag lol. That’s the way he sleeps at the house so creature of habit I guess. Looking forward to the next trip. Safe travels man new subscriber btw.

As long as you can fit camping gear in your yak you’re good! Ok it’s a little more complicated than that but I am thinking about doing a how to kayak camp/gear video

Another great video! I’m from MI too and kayak quite a bit with my golden retriever, but I’d get out a lot more if I went solo like this! Love the idea but I’d need someone to come get me wherever I end up and most places up north don’t have Uber or cell service lol
