What a super story. I can see how this would tie in with the confusion and delay that Dowager Hatt was causing whilst the Fat Controller was away sick. I loved the runaway scene and it would be something interesting to see on the TV series. Love the idea of Percy telling Emily the story :) .

I'm noticing that all the episodes in this season (except two so far) are all centered on flashbacks from the engines' past, and that got me thinking: maybe for an episode in future, you could do your own take on 98462 and 87546's time on Sodor during it's early years and how they got sent away in disgrace. What do you think?

I’m so glad you laid-off your script editors for your 9th Season. I mean no disrespect to anyone or anything. It’s just that to me, your stories became a bit lackluster with them on board. I actually stopped watching your channel after the “Inadequate Replica” two-parter. Stories like this, the Christopher Awdry story arc, and the Skarloey123 adaptations, however, drew me back to your channel, and I am humbled to once again be a subscriber of your glorious content.

It’ll be interesting to see how you handle Emily receiving her number compared to the TV series. It’s odd that TFC hadn’t already assigned that number to an engine years ago, especially when you have ones like Rosie where it seems like he just started picking random numbers after Oliver.
