I really like that saying you just come up with.... Develop your own style and have fun with it. When I first set out learning how to Spey cast it was torture. But gradually it came together and now as you say. Have fun with it. By the way. Your teaching skills and videos are brilliant. Many thanks. 👍🙂

Great video Tim. And with no editing so we see the good and the bad. Those clarifications you make mid video break me up. Seeing the comparison in the casts is helpful even though in many ways, as you mentioned, they have a lot of similarities. Keep up the good work buddy.

I'm going to purchase the Aventik 11' 6'' switch rod. Would you recommend teaming it up with the scandi line...?🙂👍...Great tutorial videos, great inspirational style.

Hi! Great vid as always. I have a question, regarding overlining a rod. I usually think that less is more, and I have this hardy zenith 12,6 7wt with rec. 32 grams on a 38ft shootinghead. Could a head that is in size 8/9 work, 38 grams in total with tip work? I just don't want to buy a set of 3 lines in size 7/8🤣 Although I'm not a fan off overlining sh rods, but do you have any experiences with overlining dh rods?

I’m like you. Less is more! Always! I would beg, barrow, steal to get the correct line for the rod. But so many N American fishermen over line their rods and love if , so who knows?
