im surprised, that it takes so long to someone to modify necrowaves design for a much more common CR2032 battery, nice ;-)

Nice work as usual. Don't have any motherboards that use the Dallas RTC but can come handy in the future. What about a little PCB to replace the DIN keyboard connector with a PS/2 connector, i really hate the AT to PS/2 keyboard adapters. Maybe space the PCB to the motherboard with a 3D printed spacer so the center of the new connector matches the old one.

Awesome job! Question… you say to not use the square pins… why exactly is that? What if one was to use those. Will it still work?
@scrap_computing10 ай бұрын
The most common headers have rectangular pins which are too wide for the socket.

Does this also work as a replacement for a DS1287A?
@scrap_computing Жыл бұрын
The only difference between the DS1287A and the DS1287 that I can see is the RCLR# pin 21. As far as I am aware this is supported by the BQ3285LF. So if I would guess it should work.

What is the difference between Intel and Motorola mode?
@scrap_computing10 ай бұрын
Not sure, perhaps it has to do with the bus timings.
