Funny thing everyone comments that Joe is going to get fired if he doesn’t get us to the playoffs. Mark my words Joe will leave at the end of this contract. Joe is a class act, treats people with respect and was undermined and doesn’t need to put up with this. He will not stay especially that Chris will be running the show, you and I know more football than him.Joe is well respected proven he can build a team of top notch scouts who were key in building this very talented roster. By the way he will have another GM job in a NY minute…and we’ll be searching for someone who wants anything to do with the Johnsons.

I think if the Jets finished 8-9 and Joe Douglas still had a year on his contract you keep him. But the fact that his contract is up makes it a completely different situation. To miss the playoffs and than draw up a new contract….. I just don’t see it

No offense, but I really hope that Peter wasn’t this negative all of his life, because I think that might have something to do with his health conditions. It is a known fact that cancer treatment is aided by mental health therapy. Research has shown that cancer is more a disease of the mind than the body, and mental conditioning can increase or decrease the efficacy of other forms of treatment. Whenever I hear Peter speak, I feel like crap myself, it’s so depressing. I hope he can truly heal his mind and body. #JetUp!✈️

Nick, I love your insight into everything Jets and your reads on this organization are spot on but I’m sorry you are way off on this one. I hope Brich is our guy, but, if a change in head coach is made, it would be a crime against humanity or worse, a crime against Jets fans to make us endure another lost season, as we wait for the O Coordinator to figure it out, much less win. I think I speak for many of the Jets Faithful when I say we can’t watch another football guru adapt from being an offensive or defensive specialist to the CEO of this team. We do not trust Chris Johnson to get it right this time. Coaching a New York team is a huge challenge for more reasons than I can list. How to navigate the unrelenting New York Media, while learning to be a head coach is like climbing Everest in flip flops.
