_Really?_ Every Single Thing they said was wrong with these passing concepts were there when Fields was QB. Eberflus boasted about meddling in the offensive play-calling & _clearly_ it's more than a little bit as the plays stay the same no matter who else has what title. The *other evidence for this* is that after Fields tried calling this out after week 6 of '22 the Entire Sets Of Plays the Bears ran changed for 4 weeks or "until the heat from Fields calling this out cooled down." *Everyone saw this.* But these guys _still_ haven't called any of this out.

@@Aetnaboy73 It's hardly a "just them" thing. Have you ever had an opinion that didn't fit the popular narrative? How long did you last trying to explain it to people? Human nature doesn't do what's right. It goes along to get along. When we see this in movies or TV we know immediately we're dealing with a villain. In real life though, everyone treats whoever doesn't go along with The Narrative as villains. There's a clip of Fields going over to Eberflus after scoring a TD to shake his hand. 'Flus looks Fields in the eye then turns coldly away from him, utterly humiliating him in front of his Own Teammates. & why? Isn't it his job as HC to uplift team morale? So what does this thing tell us? That 'Flus hates Fields. & he kept putting him in as starter. What does this tell us? Is a coach who hates his own QB gonna call plays designed to help that QB win or look competent? While I don't expect these guys to be aware of that clip (I think it was from the preseason in '22 but I don't _know_ this) they're the o-line committee. How tf did they miss what I'm seeing in the 1st 23 minutes of kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJrMfGVni998ldE? Take a shot every time a pass-rusher gets through 100% unblocked _OR_ when an o-linesman runs away from the pocket for no reason but not both. Unless you *want* to be comatose. Two years of Fields making highlight reel plays just ducking sacks & _NO ONE_ noticed he was dealing with worse than they noticed Caleb's dealing with in under half a year? That's because The Narrative Was that Fields sucked & it had nothing to do with the play-calling. So pointing this out would have upset society. So *no one* did this. Even after making that video, its maker never spoke of this again only pointing to "mistakes" he could safely say looked like Fields failed to passes to open receivers. Of course Fields was *ordered to* not pass to those. So we don't even know anymore when those were on him or the coaches. To be honest, I think Fields himself is losing his ability to know it. Same video-maker points to 2 things, that 1) Arthur Smith kept decreasing the # of snaps Pickens was on & 2) that he drags his feet on the ones he *does* get. Why would someone who _wants_ the ball not run routes? This caused him to speculate that Smith told him (& Fields) to *not target him* on those routes. Can you -imagine?_ You're about to throw to the Only Open Receiver and you have to stop yourself & read their jersey # first or the coach will punish you. What other coach would _want_ to try this? Fields has had the only 2 I'm aware of. He keeps doing Exactly What his coaches order him to do & excelling despite this & it seems as if his coaches hate him ever more for it.

Name one good to star level player he’s drafted? Besides the punter this year 😂 and don’t say Kyler Gordon. He passed up on Ben Johnson, BELLICHICK, Pete Carrol, Vrabel AND Harbaugh etc. For KEEPING MATT EBERFLUS!! He passed up CJ Stroud and Daniels back to back years with number one overall picks. He didn’t get the QB position right. 10 more years about to go down the drain. Good teams draft well like Green Bay or the spurs. Velus Jones? Tyler Scott? Are you kidding me. Caleb absolutely shares some blame. But you kinda are like “well he’s a rookie hard to expect him to be perfect and do all this stuff perfectly that really no QB is great at in their first 1-3 season” but everybody else it’s more a “why is the OC calling this, why isn’t the HC taking more control over some of these ridiculous calls, why is no one developing, why is the o line this bad, why do we have all these weapons but they can’t get open” so much is not functional which also exasperates the rookie QB problems

Who the hell said there was an organizational reset because of the drafting of Williams? That BIG reset happened 3 years ago and Williams was supposed to be the last major piece of that rebuild since Justin wasn't going to be the answer. Eberflus had to coach a reset roster and improved 4 games the next year. The REASONABLE expectation was another 2 games of improvement and playoff contention and that was looking to be the case after game 6. The PROBLEM was that Flus's offensive staff is absolute dogshit. It's time for Ben Johnson. Maybe let Caleb sit to save him for that. There is NO excuse for this team to play like this. Players play.. That's true. But to imply coaching doesn't matter is absolute bullshit. So I THANK YOU guys for this breakdown. Great job!

A lot of people want to put the blame on one person. The most blame for the Chicago Bears goes to the McCaskey's(owners). They don't want to spend money on elite coaching. It's been that way for decades. Jim Harbaugh is making 16 million a year. Look at the losing Chargers now. They went from the worst defense to the best defense and they're 6-3. Kliff Kingsbury makes 6 million a year to be an OC. Eberfuss makes 4.5 million a year. Hmmm. Go figure. Shane Waldron was obviously waaay in over his head. The offense play design and situational play calling is very poor. The offensive line is a disaster and he didn't' know how to fix it. Eberfuss is a poor "HC" and should be the DC. Caleb hasn't been accurate and hasn't been taking the right check down. It's "all" their faults. Even Ryan Poles went the wrong direction with the roster in not getting the best O-linemen for a strong running game. Who's the offensive line coach? Do they have one? The Bears suck and it starts with the McCaskey's and their low budget coach hirings!

It's the ORGANIZATION. They do not care about winning football games !!!!! In every way, their lack of commitment to the best fan network in the NFL (and I am not a Bears fan), has been sickening year after year. How many coaches have the Steelers had? Football is always from the TOP committed to the players as being the most valuable aspect of TEAM. FFFFFFF . . . ! It's no different from Pop Warner to the Super Bowl.

Love your film analysis, as a Bear fan-I'm still here. Must be addicted to certain kind of pain known as "Chicago Bears Fan". I don't get how come the Bears have 300 coaches and none can see what you guys see in less than 3 plays? Is this what Justin Fields meant by "there's too many voices in my helmet" during his interview last year. Head coach need to do way better job as a head coach, not a DC. And stop taking too long in the bathroom perfecting hair/beard styles- watch the film and learn offensive concepts, that way he can say NOOOO, don't call that one!

At the pause at 2:47 - there's nowhere to go with the football, you say? What are you looking at man? The running back is WIDE OPEN for 5 yards the moment he makes his cut. With a good throw to the outside there's 2-5 additional yards of YAC there too. That's a good pickup! Why don't you just take that profit? Caleb looks right at him, and then holds the ball .... and hold the ball ... then takes a sack. This play's failure is 100 percent on Caleb Williams. GET THE BALL OUT ON TIME! Or, sign Joe Flacco I guess.

The RB isn't the first or the second read - Caleb is looking downfield at the WR 1st, then the WR in the middle of the field.

@evanredmon3877 11 күн бұрын
@@BraggsTrowel What does that matter? We can clearly see from his head movements that Caleb is looking directly at #4 the moment he makes his cut. Wherever that is in his progression, Caleb sees it. The RB has 2 yards of separation and is running away from the defender. Throw the ball.

@@travisoshea LOL you say? Well, now I know I'm dealing with a true sophisticate, my apologies. Truth is, you have no idea what his reads are, regardless of your experience level or how familiar you might be with a particular system. Are you in the QB room? No? Then you don't know. They might be deep to shallow on one play, shallow to deep the next, half-field the next, it depends on the play. But that's not even the point here. It's a 3-man route. Not complicated. Whatever his progression is, he sees a wide open pass catcher at some point during that progression, and doesn't throw the darn ball.

Aha, _someone_ seems to know something. I want to ask what. Myself, even without All-22 can see this isn't Waldron's mess. But I want to hear what you know because it's likely things I don't. Here's the core of what *I* know: 1) Eberflus boasted that *_"I_** decide* what plays to limit the offense to" after the week 2 win over the 49ers in '22. 2) Then after Fields called out his own coaches for messing him up the entire play-sets changed for the next 4 weeks & the Bears averaged 31 ppg during them. Afterwards they returned to using plays they already knew from the 1st 6 weeks that averaged under 2o ppg. This alone would have gotten him fired if the tank wasn't intentional. But here's the thing. If anyone tries to say that this was all the OC acting without Eberflus' knowledge or consent, _HOW tf_ does one think that he's competent yet Couldn't See that the plays had changed or that the team was scoring fewer points *for over a year?* When everyone else on the planet saw this? So yeah, all of this *required* Eberflus' knowing approval. After that it's just a question of whether anyone else was a*willing* participant or not. Which brings us to your wish: it ain't gonna happen. Waldron can't talk about this any more than Getsy can. If they do, every other team, GM & HC will only wonder one thing: what _else_ might they talk about? Their careers would immediately be over & even colleges with secrets won't hire them. They *can't* talk about what happened to them. The guy who exposed Bellichick's cheats re spy-gate was out of the league the next year. Bellichick remained employed despite getting caught cheating multiple times *after* that. Anyhow, please, tell me what you know. I wanna hear it.

There was a time when rookie QB's in the NFL would hold the clip board and watch the Veteran QB play! Can you say? Green Bay Packers MOFU'ers! But No! now we have Generational Talent right out of College that's going to TAKE OVER NFL and Prove! After a hundred years of NFL Football! How wrong the league and its history truly are! If there is such a thing as Generational Talent? It proves itself on the field very quickly! Montana, Mahomes, Namath, Johnny U, Starr! Young people born in the 80's have been fed food with steroids all their lives! They're Bigger, Stronger and maybe? better looking like an Irish Setter and have the same tension span as one! It's not Fantasy Football! It's the NFL! You build an NFL Team First with the best offensive line you can draft! Besides most QB's? They're the smartest people on the field! RB's, then the defense and once you are able to control the 50! keeping your Defense off the field by controlling it with a run game! Then you can draft a QB! Since The Bears GM Jim Finks left! No one has used his playbook on how to Draft an NFL Football Team! Minnesota, Chicago and New Orleans look at how he built a Franchise Teams! I love me some Poles! But he might've screwed the pooch on Williams! Should've traded down for draft collateral and still could've taken a QB later? Michael Penix Jr. Out played Fields in OSU vs IU game! The last time Chicago Bears had a Great O Line was in the 80's with "The Black & Blue Brothers"! The Bears DNA is all over Canton on George S. Halas Drive! One QB! Sid Luckman a True Generational Talent! It's the Chicago Bears! Not the Greatest Show on Turf! From "63" on I tell you that there's been some dry spells in between! But we always played tough fundamental Football! Like the game isn't over until you leave the parking lot! But since the Great QB Search Game Show not so much! starting with Mitch Trubisky,! moving up to take a player you could've had at 15 or lower! Screw Mahome's! because there's not one swinging Johnson! That had a clue about his talent! Maybe Andy Reid? But he didn't move up! It all landed in his lap! Maybe they should move the Franchise to the track? And become "The Arlington Pandas" The Greatest Show on Track"
