Great video. I'm looking at both Nay-Evo backpacks. Are you able to pack a complete sleeping system in 60C in addition to your camera gear?

Check this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6azcpWkd5aafLc It's not as comfortable as a proper Deuter or Fjällraven Hiking backpack, but it works for shorter overnight hikes.

@@mibreit-photo Thank you Michael, that might actually work. I probably would have enough with the small ICU for my camera gear. I'm thinking of bringing only a Z6II with a 24-200 lens and maybe a 20mm prime. That would fit in the small ICU leaving more room inside the backpack for other things. Thank you for the great video!

Can Canon RF 15 to 35 and 24 to 70 be placed vertically or do you have to lay them on their side?

The 15-35 can be placed vertically, the pack is deep enough. I don't know about the 24-70 because I don't own it, but if it's the same size then it will also fit

@@mibreit-photo Thanks - those two are nearly identical dimensions. Do you know if the RF 70-200 2.8 fits vertically? That one is a bit longer but not a lot.

Hi Michael. I'm 190cm. For a one day hike or weekend city trip, would the fjord 36 with the small rci be confortable enough or should I go for the 60c?

The good thing about the 60c, you can also strap it down quite a bit so it looses some of it's profile. So for your size it might be the better way to do this. For smaller people lugging around the 60c in a city or just for a day hike might feel unnecessary and the 36 is definitly the better option then. But since you're quit tall, I'd go with the 60c because it will serve multiple purposes. You can travel with it, you can use it for day hikes, for the city and you can even load it for 2-3 day trips. PS: As I say in the video, I mainly got the 36 also for my girlfriend to use. And since I now have it I also use it, if I don't need much equipment for shorter tours. But I myself have no problem using the 60c in the city or on day-hikes. It's carrying system is superior.

@@mibreit-photo firstly thanks for the reply. The 60c, for example for a short hike with a small rci, would it feel bulky to carry or there's really not a huge difference in feeling with that same light setup in a 36?

@@blueandwhiteeighttwo for your size I don't think it'll feel too bulky. What else do you load on a small hike. I normally always have a soft layer with me, a light rain jacket, some food, first aid kit, water and so on. You can just drop everything in the top compartment then. If you go very light (< 10kg) with the setup, then you can also take the 36, even with your size. Because then you don't need to rely so much on waist belt and adjustable carrying system. So for light setups it'll also work. Question is, do you already have a pack for when you need to carry more? If that's the case, ok, then I wouldn't buy a second big bag and rather go with the 36

@@mibreit-photo I do have a 30L backpack but my photo gear is growing in size and value and that backpack is already showing its limitations hence my desired to buy a more rugged backpack and from my research Nya's fit my needs perfectly...probably I'll go for the 60c then

@@blueandwhiteeighttwo yes in that case go for the 60c. It will last through the growing Backpack needs 😀
