@nyarinyax I'm looking forward to it will be a bit of a change from the mini 3 lol one thing to ask you I can't find any info on when you're flying it low to the ground do the sensors keep it at a certain height or will it hit the ground
@nyarinyaxАй бұрын
@ as far as I understand it, when using the motion controller, you will have “assistance” when you’re in beginner and normal mode. Meaning you won’t be able to hit the ground flying, and at a certain speed I think it begins to stop you from hitting infront of you as well (don’t quote me on that) Once you go into sport mode or manual mode, it won’t give you any help. You can crash in all directions. I do think it still tells you how far away from the ground you are during flight, but it won’t stop you When using the actual controller, I think you can hit things regardless of what mode you’re in as long as you’re moving. I say this because if you’re in normal mode hovering and you hold down, it’ll begin to land the drone. So I assume it wouldn’t let you hit the ground for that reason. But again, I’m not sure. I’m just guessing based on the times I’ve flown. After the video you’re watching, I’ve never really used the motion controller again. I’m always using the fpv controller so I don’t remember too much Hope that helps!

Hi Harry, can you please explain the need for the USB-C to Lightning cable? I have an older generation iphone and curious if this is necessary for flying
@nyarinyax13 күн бұрын
@@blakeXYZ hello! Before you can go on your first flight, you need to bind the goggles to the drone. You do this within the dji app, and you need to connect the goggles to the app to do so (there might be a way to do it via WiFi/bluetooth but I only say via cable) So you’ll plug in your mobile device of choice and go through the questions, and then from there you won’t have to do it again. Your older gen iPhone should be fine, as long as it’s not like an iPhone 3 haha. Lightening cables should be fine, as long as the other side is a usb c Hope that helps!

@nyarinyax thank you for the quick reply! How's your feelings towards the Avata 2 and goggles 3 these days? Is it your daily driver? I'm about to bite the bullet and grab one. I've only flown sims and mavic mini before.
@nyarinyax13 күн бұрын
@ I haven’t flown my mavic mini 3 pro since I picked the Avata 2 up. It’s the best all around drone in my opinion. I can use the motion controller if I want cinematic footage, but can use the remote controller if I want to fly try fpv. It’s the best of both worlds! If I was trying to do intense paid cinematic work then I probably would go back or invest in mavic, but for what I do, it’s perfect Also as far as the sims go, I was very scared to fly for the first time, but it’s easier than the simulator. I don’t know how it’s happening, but I think it’s assisted in manual mode. You can still crash and everything, but it’s so much easier to fly than a simulator that I’m convinced it’s somehow assisted. All that just to say, If you can stay in the air in the sims you’ll be just fine flying with the controller!
@blakeXYZ13 күн бұрын

yo great videos, I’m a drone pilot, mostly flying regular quads, but I’ve noticed that my 3.5-inch quad handles the wind better than the Avata. When it comes to the Avata, I see two perspectives: the video captured by the Air Unit, which looks stunning, and the live feed in the goggles, which, in my opinion, is TRASH The feed in the goggles feels shaky, and wind effects seem exaggerated-much more noticeable compared to flying regular quads. This isn’t something I usually deal with. I’m curious-what does your goggles feed look like while flying the Avata? Am I doing something wrong, or is this a common experience?
@nyarinyax15 күн бұрын
@@CarlosRodriguez-vg2ob honestly, the footage in my goggles is pretty solid. It’s not stabilized, but it just feels like a less saturated version of the normal camera. Check out my the drone video after this one on my channel. @@DillonCarbajal it is jittery! I didn’t realize there were different stabilization options, so I was flying in the wrong mode for most of the video If you watch the newest drone video I’ve posted you’ll see it’s much smoother as long as I’m not flying crazy haha And I had to make that pause CLEAR😂😂

@@nyarinyax Awesome thanks for the quick reply brotha, I'm for sure subscribing. Also football in the South is just different... crazy that that's a high school stadium.

Only thing I don't like about the drones is that the higher you fly the wind takes it. DJI needs to work on that seriously. We're talking about over $1,000 for a device that could possibly be lost because of that. Good video though I enjoyed it 👍🏽

@@95South_ this is very very true. It has to be such a hard balance between keeping everything lightweight but also keeping it sturdy in the sky

Do you fly in restricted areas?
@nyarinyaxАй бұрын
@@mohdibrahimabubakar6214 firstly, before flying you should get your drone pilot license. That will teach you where you can and can not fly If you try to fly in restricted areas without access, DJI will stop your drone from advancing. But it’s up to you as a pilot to know where you can and can’t fly so you don’t get in trouble with the law
@mohdibrahimabubakar6214Ай бұрын
@nyarinyax good advise .. how much the license cost in your country
@nyarinyaxАй бұрын
@ the license is free, but to take the exam is $175 USD here. And if you do not pass you must pay again

At 15:29 what do you mean if this was full fpv mode? What makes it not?
@nyarinyaxАй бұрын
@@Peeingstickymilk good question. In this video, I’m using the motion controller. While using it, everything is highly assisted. The drone hovers on its own, to turn all I have to do I tell it, same with going forward, backward, etc. But if you were to fly try fpv, you would be using a joystick controller, and you control every element of the drone. It’s called “full acro mode”. It’s very difficult because if you were to let go of the controller, the drone would drop to the ground. You have to control every input like the pitch, yaw, roll, etc. it’s the difference between riding in self driving vehicle and driving a manual with no power steering haha In my latest drone video I talk about it a bit more! But it’s a lot of fun! Highly recommend buying a simulator and learning how to do it! Also just look up fpv drone flying on google and watch the insane stuff you can do when you’re fully controlling everything
@PeeingstickymilkАй бұрын
@ oh thanks for the info! So if you used the regular controller it would be in fpv mode? Or is it a setting you can toggle off and on?
@nyarinyaxАй бұрын
@ fpv just means “first person view”. You’ll get that no matter what controllers you use. But if you want full control of the drone (true fpv) then you’ll have to use the normal controller in Manual mode You have to remember that dji coming out with the fpv drone and the avata 1 and 2 were revolutionary. It’s the first time we’ve ever had a fpv drone that had computers built in that would help you control the drone in any way whatsoever!
