Wow!! Unreal Lawrence, this thing is BEAUTIFUL! That zirocote is class, and I really love that deep body. The sound is mind blowing. I've been listening with good speakers and in my headphones, I'm stunned. Well done 💜 🔥

Thank You! I have only used ziri on 2 instruments so far, but am sold. I'm glad you know of it's appeal, both tonally and aesthetically :)

Mandolins with out tail pieces have way lower string tension and are far easier to play. But mine is the only one that I have ever seen.

@@nyberginstruments401 Mandolins are not lute type instruments as most encylopedic things on the internet lie about. But ukuleles are lute type instruments. Ukuleles can be found that use eight strings instead of four. I use the high E string from a charango set and then the high G tuned up a full step for my A string. Of course the regular C string tuned up George Formby style and last your favorite low G of which there are many kinds available now. String tension is nine pounds average instead of twenty five pounds and the intonation does not go to far south like light strings on a mandolin that only lower the tension to twenty pounds.
