you did wonderful with the decor and making every space useful and cozy. The most surprising was the lighting. Love a kitchen and bathroom window. I get why you want a bathtub though.

Thank you so much! I really enjoyed cultivating a space that makes me happy to come home to. It’s truly feels like a home which I’ve never felt this way before in any living situation! & yes the fact that there is windows in every room of the apartment makes me so happy! & I know how rare it is. So even though there are aspects I would have liked, I am ultimately happy with how this first apartment turned out!

Great apt!! Great light! From being a person who has never had large spaces to live in, and is ocd with organization and function : Velvet hangers will give you more room in closets,, Vertical storage is a must ,, Hopefully you are utilizing the storage under bed, even reuse it a bit if you like,, I think you’ve done an excellent job! Jah & Jahes love. Congrats on your cozy and chic apartment in Manhattan. I loved your couch, the rug, your bed and the linen. I am also a big fan of neural colors and I cannot wait to get stuff from Brooklinen. I also wanna say that I was born and raised in Brooklyn and I am kinda surprised that so many people have "always" wanted to live in New York City! When I was growing up here during the 70s and 80s so many of us wanted to go everywhere to spread our wings and move away from the pollution and toxic environment. I went away for College and Graduate School and my intentions were to find my success somewhere. I was rejected by all of these other places and I am forced to be home in my city. The racism, sexism, ethnocentrism or anti Haitianism is still all here and so is the pervasive prejudice against low wealth people. I'm glad that folks like you can come here and to make your dreams come true. I just can't forget that many of my ancestors were not so blessed, they were brought here as enslaved people and their kinfolks have followed them in search of a better life. Also, we need to improve the ratio of College and University graduates in NYC and the State at large. To be willing to pay this amount of money, you must really love New York! In Florida, I live in a 2500 square-foot house on a quarter acre with a pool and spa and three bedrooms and three bathrooms and pay A few hundred less than this per month on a mortgage.
