@ThomasJr5 жыл бұрын
you're so right, NY is so overrated (just ride their subway to see.) Then again, you also have the awful winters. NY is hell on earth, I only live here for the money, but here you can make no friends, you can't get laid, no social life, people are not even human, everybody is closed and distant (or rude.)
@i3_135 жыл бұрын
Or stay in different hotels.
@hamsterfromabove89055 жыл бұрын
If you have to say thing like "for the price" then you aren't in the target audience of the seller. This isn't meant to be you permanent home. This is a place you buy because a few weeks a year you have to go to NYC for a business trip. You could also let your kids stay here when they travel to NYC as well. This is the type of place that you don't get to live in if you even have to ask what price it is to know if you can afford it.
@Abyssinian974 жыл бұрын
@@ThomasJr Nyc without a doubt has many flaws but you are wrong on a bunch of levels with your comment: -The MTA system is the best public transportation system in the country. Even regarding the insane delays and outdated mechanics of the system its still mostly reliable and can get you to pretty much every corner of the city. -If you can't successfully have a social life in one of the most dense and connected cities in the world the problem isn't the city lol I've met amazing people in 4 out of the 5 boroughs whether it was friends, lovers or employers and those were just from public interactions. -When it comes to the people acting closed and distant its for a good reason. Having self awareness in a city as fast paced and chaotic as here will do that to you. Especially if the government is ignoring the homeless and mental health issues ongoing. Being constantly stopped or harrassed by the mentally deranged, scammers and flat out crackheads on the streets is a real issue and many of us would rather be safe than sorry. -The winters aren't really all that different from the rest of the northeast but snowstorms can impact the roads and transportation significantly.
