Crime is way down and while homelessness is still a problem it seems many who now live rather well in the city can’t cope with urban life.

listen up. i'm 52 born raised in nyc but parents were irish immigrants. also have lots of family from england. my biggest piece of advice is this: profile...AND I MEAN PROFILE...every black and hispanic person that you come near by on the streets or in the subways. There's a reason why white born and raised natives like me have never been attacked. We know what to look for. In fact I find manchester and places like Dublin more difficult because the thugs look Irish and English like me! lol

My great grandparents lived in New York City - around 22nd street. That was about 50 years ago. A lot of Puerto Ricans lived in that area. I believe at one time it was called Hell's Kitchen. We visited them twice. What a hell of a change from living in Cheyenne, Wyo. I'll never go back to New York. That kind of life isn't for me.

Amazing how a once beautiful city like New York ended up looking like it does in this video, trash everywhere homeless having no real place to sleep, very interesting walk throughout the big apple awesome you made it ok while filming i heard it can be a bit rough with some of the people these cities bring in ,wonderful editing and photography.
