I used to read mysteries all the time when I was younger, but I mainly read romance now. I've been trying to get back into mysteries/thrillers. Indigo Ridge sounds like a perfect balance of both. I will most definitely be checking this book out!

Yes bookstores are expensive but buying from Amazon or Target like their goal is to get rid of brick and water bookstores especially independent bookstores that’s why everything is so cheap! For now anyways because once they shut bookstores down prices will skyrocket.

I believe the 20% off sticker on target books is already reflected in the listed price- meaning that books at target are being sold at 20% off the price you’d typically see at other bookstores. You’re still saving money but it’s not an additional 20% off Target’s listed price. Hopefully that makes sense because I always thought it was an additional sale!

At Target- the discount is already applied. So like ex: 20% off sticker- book is originally $10 everywhere (msrp) but Target sells it at $8. So the discount doesn’t apply at the pos because it’s already priced at a discount. On their site and app it shows it like a discount and so does the sticker but it’s really just the price they get to sell it for.

I don't know if it's just that Target, but they should have included the 20% off. this is coming from someone who shops at Target religiously (at least 3x a month). especially because online it automatically applies it. you also could've asked them to price match with their online price because they would have done so and still included the buy 2, get 1 free sale. if ever go again during one of these sales, do self checkout and then call for a worker to price match. they're always super nice about it (at least down here that's been my experience. love this book haul as someone who just bought a lot of books also 🥰🥳
