I’ve lived in NYC my whole life and it’s honestly not as glamorous as people make it out to be. It’s pretty scary in most places but it’s good place to live ig. I’m personally glad to have a change of scenery; idk if I’m biased because that’s all I’ve known

packing tip for later (i'm a college junior, this helped a lot when i was moving around a lot) hang all the clothes you want to hang up, then slide trash bags up around your clothes and tie it shut. that way, you can have all your clothes hung on their hangers already and it's a lot easier to carry them and they don't get messed up!

In Australia you have your own house/unit by the time your in college; most of the time. So like 16, 17 or 18 it's intense as fuck, but we don't have to pay for college so that's pretty sweet.

May usually when people graduate high school they go to college. Most people are 17 or 18 when they go to college. Also, you’re right with the freshman thing. Everyone starts as a freshman, then sophomore, junior, than senior. You usually are around 21 when you graduate. Also, you probably can go to college in England if you want, I don’t think there are any rules about that. :)

Sara :v it would still go in the same order. So your “first year” you would be a freshman, your “second year” would be sophomore. Normally people don’t study JUST 3 years. They either study 2 or 4 years.

My move in day is in one week for my freshman year and I'm so excited. Watching this has made me harken back to my dream college scenario. I'm majoring in musical theatre, so as you can imagine, NYC is where my heart lives. However, I'm a poor TN girl so NY wasn't really in the budget. I'm actually so excited for the school i found and am going to, though, but that doesn't mean that your view and ability to walk through LINCOLN CENTER to get to the Bed, Bath & Beyond doesn't make me jealous.
