This happened to me as well. The career I was going to school for didn’t work out for me. It took me awhile and took an alternate route. Present day, choosing a completely different career full of passion. Now I understand the quote, “everything happens for a reason”.

Hey Izzy, so I the other week I saw you in the city (I’m from Long Island) and I totally regret not saying hi (I panicked 😅). But, I thought I’d include this in your comment section since I failed to thank you in person! I wanted to tell you that you’ve just been suchhh a huge role model and inspiration for me. I’m currently a freshman in a nursing program and after going through the whole college application process and trying to find a path/ purpose I realized how much I look up to you. You’ve inspired me to want to live in NYC after college (I’m thinking of pursuing a masters in nursing in there) and to visit Hawaii because I’ve always loved the beach and surfing. But most importantly you aided in teaching me acceptance. Acceptance for when that reject letter comes or you feel like you have to settle for less. You helped me realize it’s more about what you make with your situation and how to handle the hand you’re given (suits your journey this past month). So for all of that and such much more-your amazing videos, the joy and entertainment you bring me and others, your jovial outlook on the adversity life presents, etc- thank you❤️

Aaah this was so nice and reassuming to watch :’) I ended up being forced to take a gap year this year because of a huge slew of health issues and was so upset because all my friends left to go to college and I was so lonely but a couple months into my gap year I got my dream job and have been so happy that I’m considering taking a second gap year because I can’t fathom it being over yet!!
