Nice video again ! One thing what i find interesting in the US is the amount of different police- , ambulance and firetruck sirens ! Especially the Rumbler AddOn 😊 Here in Germany there are only a few variants allowed and they're ruled by the government via DIN NORM. So all police cars sirens make "Tatu tataa" 😁🤪

anyone know how to purchase tickets? do you have to purchase in advance or just go to the pier and purchase? im a New Yorker and never rode these ferries but it is definitely cool and worth a try!

You can do either. There's a NYC Ferry app where you can pay in advance and also vending machines at the piers.

Why is the ride so turbulent? I took one instead of the bus on what seemed to be a nice weather day. One boat passed us and the ripples sent the ferry rocking. We stopped for what seemed to be a calming moment. I don’t know, but I was nervous. It felt like water turbulence (airplane style).

Probably not, these ferries go along the East River. There are other ferries between NY and NJ that go along the Hudson.
