20 y ears ago I worked for an attorney who did immigrant law. Immigrants had to have a sponsor who would house them until they found employment and could stand on their own. They had to see a doctor for a complete physical in their country and send the paperwork to the attorney on their case. They had thorough background checks. They had to pay fees to file the application of nearly $2000 back then as well as about $2500 in attorney fees. It usually took 2 years to process everything and allowed to come to the U.S. Now, they pay cartels big bucks to bring them to the border. No attorney fees, no application fees, no doctor visit, no background check, no sponsor. Then the Biden Administration just turns them loose with a court date 10 years away, gives them a cell phone, traveling money and a free bus or plane ride to wherever they want to go. Does this sound like our government is looking out for the best interest of American citizens?
