Hungary Is Locking Up Migrants In Shipping Containers To Stop Border Crossings (HBO)

A new law in Hungary sends a clear message to would-be-border crossers: Don’t even try.
The tough, new measure gives border authorities the power to detain asylum-seekers indefinitely and house them in converted shipping containers until their cases are heard. The country’s hardline Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, says it’ll save Europe. But the U.N. says it’s illegal.
At the height of the refugee crisis in 2015, as many as 13,000 people crossed the border in Hungary everyday. But now, few succeed. Currently, at least 8,000 refugees and migrants are stuck in Serbian camps waiting to cross into Hungary, which only allows 10 people per day to enter legally.

They sat down on the pavement (!) of the Eastern railway station (Keleti pályaudvar) they got free food, drinks everything but they looked richer than the average Hungarian. They were well equipped they had tents they set up the thents on the street (which is not normal in Hungary) then they wanted everything for free and they peed on our streets (the streets that we built and fought for more than 1000 years) and they left their shit and dirt everywhere and finally they decided they wanted to go to Germany. And now you say we have no empathy. You know what Germany is doing now? They can not tolerate them any more. Super. And you still say : empathy. And who pays our empathy? You? Im a hungarian student I study journalism and as a hungarian speaker I noticed that the hungarian interviews were cut in the midle of the sentence. It was a terrible report. Those "shipping containers" are luxorious compared to the home of the avarage hungarian citizen. And even the translation was incorrect when the border guards said "we escort them to hungarian territory" the subtitle said "they push them back to serbia". I didn't voted to Fidesz nor Orbán I even considered myself a liberal but reports like these push me closer to vote for Fidesz even tho I don't like their hungarian media because the oposition has way better journalists in hungary but while watching this I began to understand that it doesn't matter which side has the better media.

The guy basically said that if they (immigrants) cross the fence and they get caught they (border patrol) take them to the nearest gates and they push them back to Hungary.
