I live on Cape Cod. That’s exactly what’s happening here. My neighbor helps out at a motel shelter in the summer. After 2 weeks She refused to help any longer because, while we have an influx of families pushed out of rentals/homeless/sleeping in cars at rest areas…the motel was full of illegal Haitians! When asked how/why it was being allowed, they claimed it was out of their control. They were also asked to learn some creole because most knew very little English. My neighbor said Haitians are not exactly known for their work ethic & are very demanding… complain they need clothes/food etc In their files they all claimed to have come right through the Mexican border. Such a shame!!!!
