Is it a red ale, or a kolsch, or...? I live in Rochester, and Rohrbach's makes an exceptional red ale. Genesse makes an insane ruby red kolsch, which is even cheaper, but is almost impossible to find because the first batch sells out in days.

There was a place I used to go to when I lived in NYC that had a killer deal, not necessarily happy hour because it was available all the time. It was at Alligator Lounge in Williamsburg and you would get a free personal pizza with every drink you buy. It was definitely a great late night spot to get some grub in your stomach after a night of boozing.
