My wife loves New York, unfortunately I don’t like it that much and here I am about to fly there for the third time because she wants to see the Macy’s parade. I’m 100% sure that She is in for a rude awakening but she never learn from other people experiences she wants to feel the pain and drag me into this chaos too.

This is my first time watching your video and I loved it. I don't purchase luxury bags and I probably never will, or if I do, it will be pre-loved. But I do buy kislux occasionally of the styles that I really like. I truly appreciate your comparisons here, which have helped me make a decision about a couple for which I was on the fence. I'll be pulling the trigger now. Thanks for this and your humor.

I stopped by Little Haiti last year and it was very nice. Obviously not a metropolitan feel, but very working class and rough around the edges. However, the visible amount of cute wifi smoothie cafes shows signs of creeping gentrification for sure. Personally, I really like Park Slope for day time exploring and Hell's Kitchen for nightlife.

I'm from the UK - going to New York in a few days and the tipping etiquette is keeping me up at night haha! So we tip in restaurants, taxis, housecleaning, moving bags etc. but what about at Starbucks getting a coffee? Fast food places? Bakery?
@HereBeBarr17 сағат бұрын
fast food no, bakery no, starbucks... maybe a $1 for a coffee.

That origin of “tip” (to insure promptitude) is nonsense. It would be “To Ensure Promptitude” but the word isn’t “Tep”. Classic backronym. Made up after the fact. Similar to how people say that Golf means Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden

Manhattan is part of the city. I'ts 5 boroughs that makes the city not just Manhattan. Born and raised. I am 65 and never thought of leaving my city. I am a New Yorker Islander. Raised in Manhattan (an island) and moved to the island of Long Island county of Kings better known as Brooklyn. Yes, Brooklyn is part of an island. Yes, Long Island.

MTA's fare used to be fare. Nowadays, the fare went high and as opposite is the service!!! Going to work late everyday! Don't tell me to wake up early and leave early... 2 hours plus is good enough to spend everyday for work for NYC subway. Price was low but service was excellent! Where are those people!!! miss you!!

My dad used to be a street painter inside New York City. He wasn't a scammer and he loved drawing for people to make peoples day. He told me once when he almost got scammed by someone at a train station to go to one of his local spots to paint. A random guy bumped into him and intentionally drop a pair of glasses. My dad living in New York for a very long time knew that the man was trying to scam him. The man acted mad and demanded a high cost to pay for the glasses. My dad walked away without a word acting as if he didn't hear the man. After two days of the incident, my dad was at the same train station where he almost got scammed going to another of his local painting spots. Same thing happens, the man bumps into my dad. Once my dad made eye contact with this "scammer" the man quickly recognizes my dad and quickly walks away. My dad couldn't stop laughing when he saw mans face. 🤣

New York City is a vibrant mix of culture, architecture, and energy. Iconic landmarks like Central Park, the Empire State Building, and the Statue of Liberty showcase its charm. The city blends historic neighborhoods like Greenwich Village with modern skylines, while its diversity and arts scene make it a global cultural hub. Perfect for exploration day and night.

For visitors from the UK, the uptown/downtown thing is a bit confusing at first. In colloquial British English we say we're going 'up town' when we're going to the centre of London (or another major city). 😊

I’m loving this. The way this guy describes the creation of the Korean-American burger is like the most beautiful story about how the melting-pot and meritocracy makes America the best nation in the world, and even throughout history. I challenge you to find another country, in the present or in the past, where stories like this one are more common or available. Just one.

1) You will always have roommates no matter how much you make. 2)You will struggle with parking no matter where you live. 3)You will learn to despise the trains at some point. 4)Once you will get a car you will learn to despise nyc traffic. 5)If you spend less than 2k a month for rent you will need a bullet proof vest to live in that neighbor. 6)You will find dating to be damn near impossible. 7)If you come into any money that is not attached to a job you will leave. On the good side: 1)World's best shopping period. 2)Fastest internet on the earth 3)All Artists do concerts in nyc.
