Check the stat for most viewed soccer match in America, it was the 2015 Women World Cup final in Canada. That is a difficult record to beat this year when Americans have to watch the kick off at 8-11am since it was in France.

equal pay argument is stupid, you earn what you bring in. you think people that make money care if your men or women? no they care about money,money,money. women's soccer does not get the money of there male counterparts is because the quality is not at the same level, if men's soccer is a 10 on quality women's is a 2-3 at max. worse quality less people want to watch it which means less attention, which means less sponsors pay for there advertising ect... its simple logic people need to stop pandering to women just cause they are women Jesus. when women's quality of the game increases so will the money. rounda rousey said it best during her time in the ufc. @ ( Ronda Rousey skewers gender pay gap ) it actually discourages and takes away credit for the real women struggles.

Adam I think using woman’s soccer as political issue is not really supportive and actually has driven US fans from the US woman’s team support. Women’s soccer pay is a set % of total earning, strictly a piece of the gate. You keep making women’s soccer some woman’s pay issue, or the gay issue, or just an “I hate President Trump” issue, you’ll have no fans or supporters very quickly.
