Good to see and hear from you AC , I used to work for the elc company of NYC , walked and worked from battery to Inwood , and loved walking. After being retired for 1 year I had to go back NYC and walk from 59st to Cambers st . Good to see you back on your feet 😊

As an Italian, the average temperatures in January in Italy are 1-2 degrees. In the south the temperatures are usually less cold, in the north it often snows, especially near the Alps.

Here too. The average January temperature in New York City is 34°F (1°C). Average highs is 40°F (4°C), average lows 29°F (-2°C). But there's an artic blast this week with temperatures in 19°F (-7°C). That night was 11°F (-11°C).

ice cream in winter, here where I live in a small city in Michigan there is a small DQ stand that will open on some of the snowiest, coldest winter days. We find out by word of mouth. They are packed with big burly guys standing in line. in the snow and cold. Michigan during snow storms.... " Hey it's snowing , lets go shopping. "
