There going to be a new ball for New Year’s Eve 2026 but with different design and Numerals too

The current ball will be retired and going to a museum. Next year, will be a different ball, so the ball drop tradition is scheduled to continue.

The Ball Drop made no sense to me. And we don't need a big sparkly ball to reflect on what last year bought or to commemorate the arrival of the New Year.
