I use the tape method when hanging things…. You take painters tape and then mark the holes on the tape and then take the tape off the item (shelf, or whatever) and then stick the tape to the wall and then you can check the level and know that the holes are in the right place. Also I just drill the screws through the tape and then rip off the tape from the wall when I’m ready to attach the shelf. That way I won’t drop and break the new thing I’m trying to hang up.

When things seem to be not the greatest in life I often turn to gratitude journaling, regular journaling & having some plain old FUN (whether on your own or with friends).
